    Production Superintendent - North West

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • To optimise the Ferro Chrome production process and to continuously improve current practices, methods, equipment and processes in a safe manner, in order to exceed current production targets and reduce costs to the company

    BALANCED SCORECARD PILLARS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY:

    • Manage SHEQ compliance within the department that you will be responsible for
    • Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status
    • Effective use of the SHEQ system, compliance towards planned task observations, field audits and conducting incident investigations as and when required.

    PEOPLE

    Manage the Section:

    • Ensure an enabling climate or culture

    Manage labour stability by minimising labour turnover

    • Labour complement in line with budget
    • Achieve HDSA/Female targets for the Section

    Production Strategy:

    • Document and review the plant production strategy on an annual basis to ensure basis to ensure that it is aligned with the business plan.

    Production Execution:

    • Perform planned Job Observations
    • Set and achieve Production Budget.
    • Set and achieve Production Quality
    • Ensure strict adherence to production work management principles to obtain maximum plant throughput
    • Ensure strict adherence to the relevant production standards and specifications.

    Maintenance Management:

    • Jointly define annual Service Level Agreements with plant maintenance personnel
    • Put systems and controls in place that will ensure that the plant is maintained:
    • at specified performance and within prescribed technical & legal requirements,
    • that will permit a safe and environmentally acceptable operation, and
    • to meet the required production-rated capacity at minimum life cycle costs.

    Maintenance Practitioner Planner- North West

    Description

    SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY

    • Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
    • Consider the level of risk, identify and communicate control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
    • Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
    • Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ statuses

    PEOPLE

    • Participate in recruitment interviews when required

    Master Data:

    • Link new materials to Bills of Materials and update Bills of Materials on SAP
    • Load New Task Lists and update existing Task Lists on SAP
    • Capture, update and maintain maintenance plans on SAP
    • Maintain plant master data (which include creation of material/service masters 

    Schedule Preparation:

    • Resource planning such as, but not limited to:
      • Arrange and chair weekly/shut down planning meetings
      • Allocate recourses
      • Create purchase requisitions materials / services
    • Report discrepancies on a weekly basis
    • Estimate cost of scheduled work for the week
    • Communicate and issue the signed off schedule
    • Print Work Orders as required

    Work Analysis:

    • Investigate W/O (work order) exceptions

    Contractor Management:

    • Optimise resource levelling through the use of internal or contractor artisans for planned work

    Logistics Operator CRP (Fixed Term) - Witbank

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Monitor and control the CRP plant from the control room by:

    Transferring:

    • Transfer material by means of a belt conveyor
    • Transfer fluids by means of a centrifugal pump
    • Transfer fluids by means of a positive displacement pump
    • Monitor and control the water reticulation in a hydro-metallurgical process
    • Monitor and control feed rate by means of a feeder

    Separating:

    • Separate material by means of a cyclone

    Low Level Maintenance:

    • Loading of product to Final Product Department

    Other processes:

    • Regular inspection of the performance conditions of the tailing’s facility.

    Maintenance Artisan Electrician (Fixed Term) - Witbank

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Safety, Health, Environment and Quality:
