    Cloud Cost Administrator

    What you’ll do:

    • Cloud monthly consumption and Forecasting
    • Departmental billing claim back letters preparation
    • Management meeting minutes review and preparation
    • Technology selection researcher (comparing other providers of the same product)
    • Cloud service request costing
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document cloud governance policies and guidelines. Ensure that these policies align with the Client’s objectives and industry regulations.
    • Proficiently manage and analyse cloud costs, billing, and expenses to ensure cost-efficiency and budget adherence.
    • Assist in the preparation of invoices and claim backs for financial processing.
    • Establish and maintain a tagging system for cloud resources to enable proper tracking, cost allocation, and resource categorization.
    • Enforce consistent tagging practices across the organisation.
    • Work with operational teams align on the provisioning and decommissioning of cloud resources to align with business needs. Implement processes to prevent resource sprawl and reduce unused or underutilised resources.
    • Monitor cloud service licensing and ensure that the Client is compliant with licensing agreements and regulations. Manage cloud subscriptions and optimise licensing costs.
    • Implement strategies for cost optimisation, such as right-sizing, reserved instance utilization, and continuous assessment of cost-saving opportunities.
    • Work with the security and compliance teams to ensure that cloud resources meet security and compliance standards. Implement security controls, encryption, and auditing where necessary.
    • Continuously assess and mitigate risks associated with cloud resources and services, whether financial, security, or operational.
    • Provide guidance to cloud users and administrators to ensure that they understand and adhere to cloud governance policies and best practices.
    • Utilize cloud governance and cost management tools and platforms to monitor and report on resource usage, compliance, and cost management. Generate regular reports for stakeholders.
    • Stay up-to-date with cloud industry trends, best practices, and new features and services. Continuously evaluate and enhance the organisation's cloud governance and cost management framework

    Your expertise:

    • Strong understanding of cloud services and cloud providers, such as Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
    • Knowledge of cloud governance best practices and principles, including tagging, cost control, and compliance.
    • Experience in cloud cost management, including billing analysis, budgeting, and cost optimisation.
    • Understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, cost-saving opportunities, and make informed decisions related to cloud governance and cost management.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Certification in cloud governance, cloud cost management, cloud security, or related areas (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) is a plus.

    Software Quality Engineer

    What you’ll do:

    • Build and foster deep relationship with Peers, Subject Matter Experts, Developers, Product Owner and other Stakeholders.
    • Work closely with Quality Assurance Leads, Practise Leads, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, Product Owner and other Stakeholders to meet the expectations of our clients.
    • Actively participate in the planning, estimation and sizing of products, features, stories to be delivered.
    • Delivery of a well-structured quality assurance solution, aligned to enterprise quality practices and standards, within the timelines agreed with the delivery team.
    • Report and manage the resolution of issues timeously to avoid unplanned expenses which could result in late delivery and stability issues once operational.
    • Participate in the backlog grooming.
    • Participate in the sprint planning, test estimation and acceptance criteria per story.
    • Discuss the low level design and functional requirements with the QA Lead,
    • Application/Solution Architect to understand the approach to test automation.
    • Collaborate with the Core Technical Team to continuously improve the automation frameworks and overall platform.
    • Develop the automation code using the automation test kit for execution.
    • Implement the test automation solutions with the objective that it has adequate coverage within the sprint.
    • Ensure the test automation solution meets the architectural and development standards that are re-usable and scalable.
    • Confirm that the automation test code implemented is appropriately catalogued, stored and aligns with the required governance.
    • Ensure artefacts are easy obtainable by storing all relevant artefacts in the repository
    • Integration into and test automation execution on DevOps pipelines.
    • Log defects using the pre-defined defect management process and tool, and ensure the relevant information is captured accurately that will assist with the root cause analysis.
    • Identify potential product risks and communicate to the QA Lead the details and any possible mitigation factors.
    • Report status of testing to the squad daily.
    • Collaborate with the stakeholder to ensure the resolution of a defect and that the root cause analysis is performed and recorded.
    • Participate in all retrospective reviews.
    • Participate in the showcase to stakeholders.
    • Mentor the Software Test Engineers within the team.

    Your expertise:

    • Level: intermediate: 3-5 years of experience
    • Level: Senior: 5+ years of experience

    Qualifications:

    • Matric
    • Relevant IT/ Testing qualification

    Support Engineer - Secunda

    What you’ll do:

    • The systems engineer role is required to provide daily support for CCII services and clients.
    • It is the systems engineer’s role to make sure that when incidents and requests are assigned, it is resolved promptly by following
      and creating the correct processes and procedures.

    Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Incident and request Management (tight SLAs)
    • Build, maintain and improve client relationships
    • Demonstrate and apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Researching and applying new/enhanced technologies Standby Duties
    • Promote teamwork and maintain good team relationships
    • Communicate effectively
    • Follow, create and review technical processes and procedures
    • Complying with the corporate, company, and regulatory policies and procedures
    • Facilitate and coordinate changes in the environment
    • Manage security and access management in the environment
    • Perform capacity management to make sure no service failures occur because of capacity issues
    • Use and configure monitoring tools to increase the availability of services supported in the environment
    • Make sure the CMDB has a 99% accuracy
    • Assist with projects
    • Conform to all SLA
    • Perform patch management and assist with maintenance windows activities
    • Resources should be based in the Secunda due to the
      standby function that is required on the Sasol CCII contract as this will be a 24X7 service

    Your expertise:

    • Experience in System Engineer role 2 - 3 years

    Qualifications:

    • Matric Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
    • Relevant Certification: A+, N+, and MCSE
