    Technician: Field Support (Durban)

    Purpose:

    • The Technician (Field Support) will be responsible for the off-site support function through the testing, diagnosis and repair of notebooks, PC's, Notebooks & Printers.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and repair all technical faults of Notebooks, PC's & Printers.
    • Follow the correct test process for all brands.
    • Ensuring that all communication with our customers is of the expected quality.
    • Completing all assigned tasks within the required time frame (SLA).
    • Enhancing customer experience and relationships.
    • Keep the CMDB system up to date at all times.
    • Help maintain the rework rate for the department below 2% (rework report) within a 30day period between barcodes.
    • Maintain service levels at 90% (SLA Report).
    • Complete at least 5 workshop repairs per week depending on the field work schedule.
    • Manage Stock Rand value and have a 0% shrinkage basis and have no stock outstanding for more than 14 calendar days.
    • Ad hoc tasks as required.

    Requirements
    Qualification and Experience:

    • Matric
    • CompTIA A+, N+ and S+ preferred
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Min of 3-year technical experience in notebooks, PC repairs & Printers
       

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Good knowledge of general administrative and internal processes
    • Knowledge of ICT industry
    • Knowledge of operating system software (i.e., Windows 10).

    Coordinator: Operations & Facilities (Durban)

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of building maintenance activities. Participates in the development, recommendation, and administration of policies, procedures, and processes in support of departmental operations. Responds to inquiries and requests from internal departments and co-ordinate services rendered by external sources. Responsible for determining and recommending training needs and planning, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Co-ordinating the receiving function, completing manifest, documenting all incoming assessing damages, documenting all discrepancies, taking the necessary measures with the relevant parties to sort all discrepancies out.
    • Co-ordinating the dispatch department, ensuring the smooth running of the department, handling of queries that can’t be handled by dispatch clerk. Taking necessary measures with relevant parties to resolve any issues the department may be facing.
    • Co-ordinating the collections department, ensuring smooth running of the department, handling of queries that can’t be handled by front counter staff, taking necessary measures with relevant parties to resolve any issues the department may be facing.

    • Liaising with various service providers involved in inbound and outbound Logistics, maintaining relationships to ensure maximum efficiency and better turnaround time on services.
    • Basic warehouse upkeep, ensuring basic health and safety standards, such as all goods to be stored on pallets no unauthorized entry, Monitoring E-waste, monitoring all visitors in the warehouse.
    • Monitoring push reports, ordering stock that goes on backorder on system, Monitoring backorders that are backordered on the system, ordering of all stock as directed by Line Manager
    • Attending to all queries and enquiries relevant to the department, supporting sales staff to reach customer satisfaction at the same time at a cost-effective method.
    • Liaising with security service providers ensuring ongoing security compliance for the premises, reporting incidents to senior management, implementation of new security protocol and procedures.
    • Reporting building maintenance issues, procurement of service providers for building maintenance, supervising workmanship ensuring it is completed within timeframe and according to specification.

    Requirements
    Qualification and Experience:

    Clerk: Logistics (Durban)

    Purpose:

    • The Logistics Clerk is primarily responsible for general logistics functions within the logistics department.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in Stores dept. when requested to do so.
    • Assist the Drivers with Deliveries.
    • Assist with delivering urgent stock to customers.
    • Assist at the collections front counter.
    • Assisting with couriers when there is backlog.
    • Assist with loading the vans with orders.
    • Assist with notifying sale that their orders are here if needed.
    • Assist with loading the vans with orders.
    • Ensuring all stock in the warehouse are on pallets and not on the floor.
    • Keeping a record of all stock that is invoiced and putting relevant notes on the system.

    • Assist customers with loading of the stock.
    • Assist with taking the daily invoices upstairs at the end of the day.

    Clerk: Logistics Front Counter (Durban)

    Purpose:

    • Responsible for general logistics functions in the front collections counter and provide logistics support to the rest of the team. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Efficiently and accurately check all stock received in the Logistics Department.
    • Assist with offloading of courier deliveries, checking all boxes for damage and endorsing waybill accordingly.
    • Accurate shelving of stock in the correct locations for collection or delivery.
    • Complete the checking and shelving of stock within two hours from receipt.
    • Ensuring that all stock is handled in the safest possible manner, to avoid any possible damage.
    • Contacting all customers for uncollected stock on a weekly basis to cancel orders when necessary.
    • Prepare goods for couriers and capture the waybill information in time for the daily collection.
    • Assist sales staff with enquiries regarding progress of deliveries or collections.
    • Opening of collections dispatch Counter promptly at 8 am.
    • Invoices and card machine receipts to be taken to accounts and cashbox collected every morning before 8:30am.
    • Any cash value from R5000 upwards received needs to be taken to accounts dept.
    • The daily cash up must done if cash is received from customers.
    • Ensure that cashbox have enough change for cash transactions.
    • Assistance in offloading the daily truck that comes from JHB.
    • IBT orders for collections to re-shelve in the appropriate area for when customers will be collecting
    • Ensure all stock dispatched from collections are correct with regards to quantity and description.
    • Screen/Panels that are 32inch or larger needs to be checked before leaving dispatch and the relevant paperwork signed.
    • Printing of all demo sheets for demo units and handing them to appropriate personnel.
    • Assisting in other aspects of the logistics department when someone needs assistance.
    • The scanning of invoices.
    • The sending of statistics to the appropriate personnel.

    Requirements
    Qualification and Knowledge:

    • Matric
    • Qualification in logistics will be an advantage
    • Driver’s license
       

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Good knowledge of general administrative processes
    • Good understanding of logistics principles
    • Knowledge of MS Office packages (Word Excel Outlook)

    Clerk: Credit Returns (Durban)

    Purpose:

    • The clerk (Credit Returns/Purchases) is primarily responsible for implementation of the company’s credited goods policy and procedure through client liaison and controlling the movement of goods returned.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist and support returns officer effectively in his day-to-day tasks.

    BDM/Pre-Sales Product Specialist: Huawei Enterprise (Midrand)

    Purpose:
