    Practice / Office Manager

    Duties:

    • To oversee day-to-day operations
    • Ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the practice.
    • Managing staff,
    • Coordinating schedules,
    • Handling patient inquiries
    • Overseeing billing processes

    Skills:

    • Strong leadership skills
    • Excellent communication abilities
    • Experience in a dental or healthcare setting (preferable)

    Staff Nurse

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administer medications, injections, assist with scopes, extensions, wound care, bandages, and casts.
    • Perform EKGs, urine tests, and other general tasks.
    • Schedule appointments with Path Care, Sonars, and Admissions; follow up with patients on results.
    • Open new files, coordinate with medical funds for benefits, and manage systems and procedures.
    • Knowledge of Workmen’s Compensation Act (WCA).
    • Demonstrate sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and take initiative for the benefit of patients and staff.
    • Computer literate; experience with Practice Perfect and Med Edi preferred (training provided if unfamiliar).
    • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in elderly care.
    • Registered as a Professional/Staff Nurse.
    • Computer literate; experience with Practice Perfect and Med Edi preferred (training provided if unfamiliar).
    • Good written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Afrikaans and English is essential.
    • Preferably with prior experience in a practice setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and software.
    • Independently analyse, communicate, and solve technical problems.
    • Work with minimal supervision, using initiative and judgment.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • A customer-first mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
    • Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to client challenges.
