    Manager – TeamMate (GRIA)

    PwC is the Business partners of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting in southern Africa and act as the sole distributor of TeamMate solutions and all associated implementation services, support and training in southern Africa (including Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Lesotho and South Africa). The TeamMate Team responsible for delivering these services is part of the bigger GRIA (Governance, Risk and Internal Audit) division in PwC. TeamMate helps professionals in all industries at organizations around the world manage audit and compliance risks and business issues by providing targeted, configurable and efficient software solutions.

    TeamMate offers solutions for audit management, controls management, and data analytics. Together, this ecosystem of easy-to-use and configurable solutions provides organizations with the confidence they need to manage all aspects of risk identification and assessment, electronic working paper creation and management, controls framework management, and data analysis.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Pre-sales / Sales

    • Seeks to understand PwC, Wolters Kluwer and TeamMate business initiatives.
    • Researches and understands how TeamMate offerings fit into the prospect/client business now and in the future.
    • Effectively demonstrates how TeamMate software solutions address client problems (with a focus on how TeamMate can accommodate their desired methodology, business needs etc.).
    • Stays informed of industry trends, regulatory changes and other relevant internal audit information/best practices and understands the impact of this information to clients

    Implementation

    • Conducting Business Analysis/Information Gathering sessions to understand the customer's requirements
    • Identifies risks, recognizes impact, and consults with client to discuss mitigation plans associated with the deployment of the TeamMate product offerings.
    • Configuring the software, ensuring it is aligned with the customers' business processes

    Training

    • Training the customers end-users on software functionality prior to go-live

    Support

    • Providing ad-hoc customer support

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor’s degree

    Minimum Experience:

    • Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to various audiences, virtual or onsite.

    • Contact between service providers, PwC  and Landlord relating to any issues
    • Client related function - Compliance Officer for assisting all staff who come to work at the main client in Secunda to be compliant in respect to safety and issuing of access cards
    • BCM related activities related to the Secunda office and feedback BCM Team
    • Generator duties - buying diesel to fill up the generator and arranging maintenance thereof.
    • Scott Safe duties - quarterly visit from an inspector making sure the office is compliant at all times.
    • Coordinate social events in the office
    • In general making sure the office and all staff comply to PwC rules (clean desk policy etc.)
    • In charge of the Archive Room based in the office.

    Purpose of job:

    The Programme Manager will be managing large transformation programmes and projects as well as assist with growing the Project Management capability within PwC. 

    This role requires the individual to have the knowledge and skills that are both broad and deep. The individual must be an all-rounder with experience in project and programme management across various industries. The individual must have experience on multiple types of programmes, including technical, business and specifically large transformation programmes.
