    Marketing Manager - Paardevlei

    Summary

    The incumbent will be responsible for Brand Management and the hospital's marketing. These include but are not limited to:

    • Actively participate in hospital marketing and communication campaigns and initiatives
    • Planning, Organizing and Rolling Out of Brand Activation events.
    • Performing PR on print and digital platforms as approved by management.
    • Actively participate in GP visits and introduction of specialists to GPs.
    • Ensuring all Marketing collateral, promotional material and corporate merchandise are aligned to the Busamed Brand Manual.
    • Liaise with internal and external clients, such as staff, doctors and patients.
    • Actively partnering with HR on staff events.
    • Actively driving and partnering with other stakeholders on CSI initiatives.
    • Regularly perform patient satisfaction surveys and submit regular reports to management.
    • Plan and control the specific marketing budget.
    • Researching and implementing new and appropriate marketing strategies
    • Build and maintain relationships with Doctors (Internal and External)
    • Actively promote the hospital and relations and services and Doctors
    • Actively drive and promote the CME/CPD program.

    Requirements

    • Post Graduate Diploma / Degree in Marketing or equivalent NQF Level 6 is essential.
    • Driver’s License is essential. 

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 3 to 4 years Marketing experience is essential.
    • Experience in a Private Hospital environment would be advantageous.
    • Must be willing to travel to and from clients and doctors

    Knowledge

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
    • Intermediate computer skills are essential and working knowledge of the design program is advantageous.
    • Fluent in English and Afrikaans advantageous.

    Receptionist / Switchboard Operator - Hillcrest

    Summary

    Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital is looking for suitably qualified customer-orientated person to provide timeous, efficient front-line service to patients and visitors. The position encompasses preadmission, admission, reception, data capture and switchboard duties, ensuring a friendly stressfree admission process and frontline patient liaison. The job also includes the accurate capturing of patient data.

    Requirements

    • Accurately capture all relevant patient information pertaining to patient admission ensuring 100% compliance in all admission processes on SAP system.
    • Assist with pre-admission of patients as necessary
    • Identify and report on gaps analysed during the admission process and follow up timeously.
    • Ensure professionalism, conduct and friendliness at all times when dealing with internal and external customers
    • Responsible for the marketing of the department and services offered to admitting doctors and follow up with non-compliance.
    • Assist with admission internal audits and quality reviews pertaining to department needs.

    Deputy Nursing Manager - Hillcrest

    Summary

    The Deputy Nursing Manager will be responsible for the coordination of functions and activities related of the provision, promotion and assurance of quality patient care. This include acquisition of nursing staff; professional development of nursing staff; delivering of quality patient care; client relations management; implementing quality improvement strategies; managing risks; financial management related to nursing costs, capital budget and operational budget.

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Unit Managerial or similar position within private hospital environment.

    IT Support Technician - Gateway

    Summary

    The incumbent’s main responsibilities will include among others: installing, configuring, maintaining and
    troubleshooting of user workstations on company LAN; formatting and reloading of user machines, ensuring all user data is backed up and secured before formatting; ensuring correct software is loaded onto the user’s machines before use; desktop support via telephone or services desk initiated requests; company server infrastructure monitoring and proper escalation of alerts; exchange and active directory administration, including corporate applications support, troubleshooting and issue escalation and follow-up on all unresolved calls, with constant feedback. The successful candidate will also need to participate in the call-out roster, respond to call outs where necessary, and able to function unsupervised.

    CSSD Supervisor - Hillcrest

    Summary

    The CSSD Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the execution of procedures and tasks to decontaminate, pack and sterilize medical devices , linen and medical consumables required by the operating theatres and ward units is done according to international, national and hospital policy and standards.

    Requirements

    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse
    • Previous experience in an operating theatre or CSSD environment is essential
    • A current Certificate in Basic Decontamination (eg Safmed) will be advantageous
    • Computer Literacy is essential

    Work Experience

    • Three or more years of experience in a private hospital

    Knowledge

    • Demonstrate professional work ethics and leadership qualities.
    • Ensure that consistently high standards are maintained within the CSSD department

    Regional Financial Manager – Hillcrest & Other Companies

    Summary

    The incumbent will be responsible but not limited to:

    • Prepare and maintain accurate Management Accounts in line with the Group Finance policies
    • Management and monthly variance analysis of major operating expenses
    • Preparation and presentation of the Annual Financial Budget and Forecasts
    • Monthly and Quarterly review of all Balance Sheet Reconciliations
    • Cashflow Management
    • Auditing of Monthly Payroll
    • Develop and implement system changes / advancements within the company that creates efficiency

    • Health Care experience would be advantageous 

    Knowledge

    • Computer Literacy essential (Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills Compulsory)
    • SAP Knowledge advantageous
