DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide administrative support to the Product Development team
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and other documentation related to product development
• Maintain and organize department files, records, and databases, ensuring that all information is up to date and easily accessible
• Handle internal and external communications, including responding to inquiries and coordinating with other departments or Suppliers
• Assist with the logistics of product testing, including ordering supplies, equipment, and coordinating with stores
• Track and manage the department’s budget, processing invoices and expenses, and ensuring that financial records are accurate
• Support the team with data entry, analysis, and preparation of summaries for product evaluations
• Provide general office support

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificates or qualifications in administration or project management
• 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a fast-paced environment such as a QSR, food service, or hospitality industry
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the improvement of our current product offerings
• This role is focused on enhancing existing menu items and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction
• The R&D Supervisor will also be responsible for testing new equipment and ensuring it integrates seamlessly with our product preparation processes
• This is a crucial role for someone passionate about the quick service restaurant industry who excels in process optimization and product refinement
• Lead efforts to improve the quality, taste, and consistency of existing menu items
• Test and evaluate new equipment for product preparation, ensuring it meets operational standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and supply chain to implement product enhancements
• Conduct sensory evaluations and product testing to identify areas for improvement
• Analyse customer feedback and performance data to make data-driven recommendations for product improvements
• Maintain documentation on product modifications, testing procedures, and outcomes
• Ensure that all product improvements comply with regulations and company standards
• Provide training and support on new processes or equipment introduced as part of product enhancements
• Report writing and product trial feedback
• Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure our products remain competitive

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Degree in Food Science or Food Tech, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a quick service restaurant (QSR) environment, with a focus on product development or process improvement
• 2-3 Years experience in a supervisory role managing a team
• Strong understanding of food preparation processes and quality control
• Experience with equipment testing and evaluation in a food production environment
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable improvements
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Own vehicle required – for travel between stores and head office

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing overall operation of the restaurant/ take-away
• Ensuring quality standards of food and PEDROS Standard Operating Procedures are maintained
• Overseeing and managing stock control, purchasing and orders
• Dealing with customer complaints and maintaining customer service levels of the restaurant/ take-away
• Maximising profitability and meeting sales and GP% targets, including motivating staff
• Managing staff including discipline and work rosters
• Work within a team and drive the restaurant/take-away forward
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Restaurant and Fast-Food Service experience. Minimum 1-year related experience required
• GAAP/ Micros experience and knowledge - advantageous
• Management skills
