    Sales Executive

    About our Sales Team

    Our sales team assists in building the company’s business by identifying prospective clients, demonstrating our software’s capabilities to potential clients and then converting them to paying clients. Each sales team member acts as a relationship manager by maintaining current client relationships and developing relationships with new clients. When new clients have been converted, each member is required to train the client in the use of the software. As we encourage our staff to grow and develop their skills, we require that our sales staff consistently work on sharpening and improving their skills, be it through practice, reading or by attending classes, workshops or seminars

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Legal/banking background – it would be advantageous to have worked on third party trust administration products or to have some knowledge of estate administration.
    • 2+ Years of experience in sales.
    • Experience and ability to cold call.

    General Requirements

    • Proficiency in English;
    • Cold calling capabilities;
    • Passionate about sales;
    • Self-motivated, goal oriented with a desire and ability to meet targets and deliver results;
    • Fast learner who can adapt in a competitive environment;
    • Eagerness to learn about and understand the software and its features;
    • An understanding of technology and software use;
    • Able to use MS Office and its features;
    • The ability to speak another South African language is encouraged.

    Responsibilities

    • Research, identify and meet with prospective clients (virtually or during sales visits);
    • Demonstrate and present the software and its features to potential clients;
    • Build & maintain relationships with existing and new clients;
    • Train new clients to use the software;
    • Provide assistance to clients regarding software use or other inquires when required;
    • Keep accurate records of sales, demos and training sessions;
    • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new developments;
    • Work towards and achieve sales targets;
    • Keep track of sales data and create sales reports;
    • Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings where appropriate and applicable.

    Technical Product Owner

    Job Summary: The company is looking to recruit an ambitious and energetic Technical Product Owner, who will help the company to lead the revolution of renewable energy. Given that organisation is taking renewable energy into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking.
     
    Specifically, the job requires taking ownership of the following on a global level:

    • The product of the digital platform at the organisation consisting of
    • An interconnected ecosystem of software tools across all company verticals
    • Structured storage of data across tools
    • Automation of repetitive tasks
    • Collect, consolidate and prioritize business requirements and incorporate user inputs from business process designers, data analysts and other internal stakeholders. Maintain relationships with SaaS providers and manage budgeting & contract negotiations/renewals
    • Build a development roadmap for the digital platform for the next 12 - 24 months
    • Coordinate the building/upgrading and maintenance of the digital platform with in-house and external software developers (incl. dev/ops)
    • Ensure interoperability of platform including database structure
    • Identify the skill and bandwidth requirements, and execute on the resourcing plan
    • Enhance the appreciation and knowledge of technical concepts and the product itself within the entire organization and increase the usage (frequency and quality) of the product
    • Project and measure commercial viability for platform components and their connection

     Job Requirements:

    • At least 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership position, ideally technical product owner, solution architect or IT administrator
    • Knowledge of software design and product architectures
    • Managed the purchase decisions and implementation/maintenance of SaaS products
    • Spent time in a Software Engineering role
    • Managed software engineers
    • Entrepreneurial mindset
    • Touch points with data modelling and pipelining is a plus
    • Touch points with process automation is a plus
