Job Description
- The role is responsible for executing the brand strategy and related marketing plans for a portfolio of business units, in support of building and growing the OMI brand. The role collaborates and delivers in partnership with Business Units.
Operational Delivery
- Implement brand strategy and enterprise-wide initiatives that support the overall Old Mutual Insure (OMI) brand strategy and associated plans in partnership with business units.
- Provide sound brand consulting and central execution services and recommendations to support the implementation of the OMI Brand strategy and meet the needs of business units.
- Provide input into, and provide advice on the OMI Brand architecture and usage protocols to support the adherence of these protocols across the OMI business.
- Deliver integrated marketing campaigns across the OMI Group for enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Manage different marketing and communication channels to deliver product agnostic and enterprise-wide marketing, public affairs and sustainability campaigns/initiatives for a portfolio of business units.
- Analyze marketing insights to identify opportunities to optimize brand positioning and improve brand equity.
- Review performance metrics and methods to refine and optimize marketing and digital activities and campaigns.
- Plan/execute the integrated marketing functions (all above the line/through the line/ internal marketing/ digital/advertising campaigns for Old Mutual Insure)
- Digital social media content management ( planning and execution)
- Manage marketing media to deliver on integrated marketing (all above the line/through the line/ internal marketing/ digital/advertising)
- Project management of marketing campaigns that ensure the most effective way of delivering outstanding integrated marketing campaigns, on time and in budget; ensuring that integrated marketing collateral is leveraged in all appropriate other business activities.
- Manage agencies and contractors to ensure that they are motivated and producing industry-leading creative work, media execution, brand experiences.
- Manage events and sponsorship portfolio – development and executing events and securing sponsorships to deliver on enterprise, segment and stakeholder objectives
- Responsible for budget management/supplier management (contract management, supplier payments, budget tracking)

- Implement and ensure that standards set in the Brand Framework (principles and protocols for Brand and Trademark policy, IMC connection management, advertising, sponsorship and events) are adhered to across the OML business.
- Manage the delivery and performance of external suppliers, agencies and vendors in line with the agreed framework and process.

Role Overview
- This role manages the Data Capability Support function and provides the interface between end users and product/ technical support resources, responding to the user community efficiently and timeously.
