    Mechanical Assistant x2 Global Grade 03 - Venetia

    Key Output

    •  Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine systems and carry out repairs, services and maintenance on Earthmoving Equipment on Customer sites or at BWE site.
    •  Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR’s) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA’s)
    •  Maintain professional image when representing BWE
    •  Ensure safe work practice
    •  Control Contamination
    •  Control own admin (labour booking, service reports, parts returns, expenses etc.)
    •  Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained
    •  Assist artisan with planned services and maintenance on earthmoving equipment and components to supplier standards and customer requirements.

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    •  Grade 12

    •  3 years relevant mechanical / mining experience

    Mechanic General Global Grade 08

    Key Output

    •  Carry our repairs, services and maintenance on Caterpillar Earthmoving Equipment on customer sites.
    •  Remove and install components on customer sites.
    •  Ensure safe work practice.
    •  Maintain professional image when representing BWE on customer site.
    •  Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer machine breakdowns.

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    •  Minimum of 6 years’ experience as Mechanic General, Trade Test qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic/ Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) post apprenticeship or learn ship experience.
    •  Experienced trouble shooting and problem-solving skills on Earthmoving Equipment Machines.
    •  Well imbedded machine specific technical knowledge and skills.
    •  Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
    •  Good technical report writing skills.
    •  Basic business and financial understanding.
    •  Computer literate (SIS, ET & STW) knowledge.
    •  Good and experiences on Caterpillar machine and product knowledge.

    Key Output

    • Perform planned and breakdown electrical repairs and maintenance on generators and / or electrically operated Earthmoving Equipment and components to supplier standards and customer requirements.

    Management Accountant Global Grade 12 -Isando

    Key Output

    • Preparation of the month actual, forecast and plan periods files
    •  Preparation of the annual financial statements and liaising with the auditors
    •  Preparation of bi-monthly cash forecast and reconciliation to expected cash flow

    Product and Application Engineer Global Grade 12

    Key Outputs

    •  Interact with Customers, Sales and Product support, Marketing, Service Engineering and Caterpillar
    •  Assess product application impact on equipment management practices on Barloworld Equipment sites. Identify areas for operational improvement on customer sites through site assessments (Gap assessments) and develop remedial actions
    •  Work with Maintenance process engineering team to incorporate product application elements into equipment management strategy and process
    •  Identify application influence on machine life cycle for existing and new sites
    •  Assist in developing customer site solutions based on application, site severity, customer requirements and financial return. Assess impact of product application and site severity on component lives

    • Product – Identification of product as per application with focus on equipment management practice

    Parts Salesperson Global Grade 07 - Kathu

    Key Output

    •  Correctly identify the needs of the customer using all information possible (Serial number, model number etc.…)
    •  Create quotes and follow up with customers daily
    •  Convert all quotes to sales orders with the correct pricing against the quote
    •  Ensure that all regions are checked for available stock before an Airfreight or emergency order is created
    •  Process parts orders and back orders efficiently and effectively as per above
    •  Maintain all open back orders that gets cancelled or grieved by JDC as well as the sales order
    •  Action grieved orders using SIS for the reason the order was grieved and liaise with JDC

    SHEQ and Facilities Manager Global Grade 12

    Key Output

    •  Manage and record incidents and complaints regarding eg. injuries, customer complaints, employee complaints, refuse to work complaints, etc
