    Sage 300 ERP Consultant

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    System design and configuration

    • Continuous communication with the client relating to the client’s requirements.
    • Setting up the system / customising it to match the client’s needs.
    • Understanding the needs of our clients.
    • Understanding what configurations are required to meet their needs.
    • Develop strategies by planning, processing new information, and applying your mind.

    Implementation

    • Provide professional, responsive and knowledgeable support and training to clients on the use of Sage 300 ERP.
    • Plan and execute new implementations and upgrades.
    • Software Implementation/Configuration
    • Troubleshooting/investigating/tracking specific problem areas.
    • Identifying milestones and working towards meeting them.
    • Testing of the system.
    • Configure the system for the project to go live successfully.

    Training

    • Providing the client with value-added training sessions to train their users.
    • Teach the client how to use the system.
    • Empower our clients to confidently use the system.
    • Provide continued support to the client.

    Support

    • Analyse system-related problems
    • Identify solutions (self or with external support).
    • Verify that the solution addresses the problem.
    • Ensure corrective action is taken.

    EDUCATION & TRAINING

    • Relevant Diploma / Degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • At least 3 – 4 years of Sage 300 ERP experience.
    • Sage 300/Accpac certified.

    • Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
    • Meticulous, diligent, and accountable.

    • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal).

    • Sage 300 / Accpac Financial, Operational.
    • Sage 300 / Accpac Service Management, Manufacturing and Asset Management. (Advantageous).
    • Report writing and MS Excel skills.
    • Good accounting background with a proper understanding of internal control structures and business processes.
    • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

    Junior Project Manager

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Management of IT Projects.
    • Project Administration and Coordination
    • Managing a team of consultants to ensure the desired project is delivered within the allocated time, budget, and scope.
    • Assist Senior Project Manager/s with projects
    • Manage client expectations
    • Manage project budget
    • Diary Management
    • Taking and distribution of Minutes
    • Preparation of PowerPoint presentations for Exco and Steerco meetings
    • Administration on Creating Proposals and Change Request Documentation
    • Invoicing through Sage X3 and Revenue recognition on each project
    • Create Project Charters
    • Facilitate PMO meetings, note actions and drive deadlines for PMO team
    • Resource planning, booking and management
    • Update master documents and presentation slides when needed.
    • Assist with Financial reporting
    • Assist with Sales documentation and communication to business thereof
    • Track expenses and predict future costs
    • Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet requirements
    • Measure and report on project performance

    Education, knowledge and Experience

    • National Diploma/ Degree required
    • Work experience as an IT Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or similar role
    • Good working knowledge of using Excel, Microsoft Projects, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
    • Experience in ERP systems greatly beneficial
    • PMP / PRINCE2 certification beneficial

    • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
