    Regional Pricing and Strategic Sourcing Manager

    Main Responsibilities or Functions:

    • Developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability.
    • Working closely with other teams to closely track movements in costs.
    • Monitoring and reporting on pricing performance and competitiveness.
    • Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels.
    • Assist in creating promotional campaigns and conducting pricing optimization and cost-benefit analysis.
    • Developing pricing proposals for new products and services
    • Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors.
    • Collaborating with product, sales, and finance teams on pricing decisions
    • Staying updated with pricing best practices and market dynamics.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to formulate sourcing strategies in alignment with business initiatives to meet established goals and drive continuous improvements.
    • Select and evaluate business partners in an objective and professional manner in order to achieve the best possible total cost, on-time delivery, and quality.
    • Ensure that suppliers comply with Epiroc's Business Code of Practice, applicable laws, regulations, restrictions, and standards.
    • Perform supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation plans as needed.
    • Develop, implement, and manage supplier agreements.
    • Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
    • Develop pricing strategies to achieve total cost optimization.
    • Conduct supplier business review meetings to ensure cooperation and strategic alignment.
    • Perform supplier evaluations using objective criteria, including but not limited to quality, risk minimization, productivity, delivery performance, safety, reliability, commercial performance, competence, and price.
    • Perform make/buy analysis.
    • Participate in new product development and process improvement projects as required.
    • Initiate and complete administrative requirements, such as generating RFQs and RFPs, writing engineering changes/deviation requests, loading quotations, standard cost adjustments, purchasing price variance reporting, etc.
    • Monitor and update sourcing parameters in the ERP system to ensure master data integrity.
    • Ensure supplier payment issues are resolved in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with sourcing colleagues worldwide to optimize economy of scale, maximize leverage, and take advantage of synergies when possible.
    • Comply with Epiroc's Purchasing policy.

    Competences, skills and experience    

    • Relevant Degree/Diploma.
    • 3-5 years of experience of pricing and purchase strategy definition.
    • Experience with profitability management,
    • Experience with cost management.
    • Experience with supplier relationship management and improvement,
    • Experience and understanding in pricing model strategies and implementations.
    • Supply chain management experience advantageous.

    Indirect Sales Manager

    The role    

    • Develop, coach, and support the individual Indirect Sales Partners in customer meetings, ensuring customer engagement as per The Epiroc Way to improve collaboration & qualification of the deal.
    • Support distributors to identify, convert and grow market/ sales opportunities in their assigned areas of responsibility.
    • Work within approved prokura with credit management, pricing, and discounts to ensure that there is minimum risk to the company.
    • To create and execute individual and specific Partner business plans.
    • Implement a regular feedback process, to measure and manage Partner Performance regarding, forecasting, quarterly business reviews and development sessions etc.
    • To be responsible for ensuring the Partner organisations have a clear and structured enablement plan for sales and technical skills which directly aligns to the business plan.
    • Monitor and challenge performance delivery for each indirect sales partner with monthly performance reviews that seeks to continuously implement solutions that help growth. 
    • Provide accurate forecasting to the respective divisions Business Line Managers.
    • Recruit, onboard, and develop new partners.
    • Ensure internal alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain and credit control. Develop and maintain good working relationships and processes with all support functions to assist sales in resolving complex issues.
    • Gather relevant sales, marketing and competitive data related to the indirect sales partner market and performance.
    • Provide monthly forecasts, monthly/ quarterly updates on IDS-related KPI's.
    • Develop and implement a Multi-brand Sales and Pricing Strategy for Southern Africa.
    • Conduct regular analysis of sales data, market trends, competitor, and customer behaviour, etc. and use this information to develop territory-specific business plans and revenue forecasts for the multi-brand product.
    • Develop and maintain an account base to achieve Multi brand revenue goals.
    • Ensure leads and opportunities are accurately and timeously captured on salesforce.
    • Prepare sales call and activity plans for the month ahead.
    • Prepare monthly sales activity and related revenue reports for Business Line Managers. 
    • Participate in the respective divisional forums, providing feedback on market trends, channel strategy and local conditions to succeed.
    • Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers' and Regional Corporate Responsibility Manager to identify Enterprise and Supplier Development opportunities in the respective territories to support inclusive procurement plans, as well as indirect sales/ multi-brand strategy.

    • Ability to work independently and under pressure
    • 10+ years sales experience. 
    • Proven track record in recruiting and managing dealers/ distributors/ resellers. 
    • Good knowledge of the mining and construction industry in Southern Africa.
    • University degree in marketing, sales, business management or similar. 
    • Post-graduate qualification will be advantageous.

    Data Clerk - Rustenburg

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Accurately input required data onto systems
    • Prepare reports as required
    • Scrutinize for iantegrity of data, highlight problems to the Site Administrator
    • Do data inputs with daily back up
    • Participate in required meetings
    • Daily Filing of all documents
    • Co-ordinate all training bookings
    • Keeping all training records up to date
    • Accurately complete role administration requirements
    • Drive for process improvement
    • Ensure continuous improvement takes place.

    • Interpersonal skills
    • Be able to complete reports to required standards
    • Effective two way communications skills with team members

    Foreman: Rustenburg

    Main duties and responsibilities:

    • To ensure that the shift maintenance is conducted within the required parameters for Legal requirements, Safety and Environment requirements, Maintenance and Production Performance requirements, Quality requirements and Financial limits.
    • To adhere to environment, health and safety programmes and requirements
    • To do first line staff management
    • To supervise maintenance and breakdown teams
    • To plan and schedule tasks and activities
    • To oversee tasks and activities
    • To ensure maintenance standards are adhered to
    • Manage the relationship between Epiroc and the client to the benefit of both companies.
    • Ensure that Epiroc comply with the signed agreement between Epiroc and the clients.
    • Enforce Epiroc policies and guidelines.
    • Maintain high quality of service delivered by Epiroc under all circumstances.
    • Ensure that all employees in area of responsibility maintain a high ethical standard.
    • Coach and train staff.
    • Maintain good morale under all employees.
    • Efficiently manage the Epiroc labour's variable compensation.
    • Compile monthly report to Epiroc and the client.
    • Responsible for workshop vehicles, plant, tools and machinery.

    • Cleanliness of the workshop and storage area / Good housekeeping. Accept full responsibility and accountability for all work designated to him within his area of responsibility.
    • Report any contraventions of standards, Legal requirements or procedures as well as health and safety hazards to his immediate supervisor after he has done all that are reasonably possible to rectify the situation.
    • Ensure that all subordinates and contractors working in his area of responsibility are appointed and that all subordinates and contractor personnel are competent to carry out their duties and all machinery and equipment used by the contractors conform to the mine standards and procedures. The proper record keeping of all work done in logbooks provided for all machinery and equipment in his area.
    • Keep record and report breakdowns, call-outs, spares usage etc. for all equipment in his area of responsibility and for the interest of continual condition monitoring purposes. Assist the Maintenance planner in compiling reports and feedback to the maintenance planning system.
    • All hazards must be identified in his section and remedial measures drawn up and implemented to eliminate accidents incident. (All accidents incidents in his section must be reported to his immediate supervisor without delay.)
    • Adhere to all relevant Policies and Procedures, Engineers Instructions, Engineer's Work Practices, Codes of Practices and Engineering Standards pertaining to his area of responsibility.
    • Hold safety meetings with all his sub-ordinates daily and also after an accident incident in his section.
    • Schedule leave for all his sub-ordinates.
    • Plan weekend work for subordinates and parade the correct people for a specific job.
    • Diligently execute all projects given to him.
    • The respective personnel must be conversant with electricity in his area of responsibility.
    • Complete the times sheets correctly and submit them to the time administration when required.
    • Responsible for the recognized on-the-job safety of subordinates reporting to him.
    • Ensure that PPE is worn during all tasks.
    • Manage damages reporting and invoicing on machines
