    Contract Administrator (6 months)

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Accurately load and maintain author contracts on Bookmaster

    • Validate and ensure that the author contracts have been fully signed by all relevant parties before loading on Bookmaster.
    • Capture contract information on Bookmaster/financial account system.

    Accurately load and maintain contracts in the contract management system.

    • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to initiate the renewal process well in advance of contract expiry.
    • Support the business with preparing renewal documentation and facilitate the approval process as required.

    Compliance and Documentation

    • Ensure the author and vendor contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Maintain organized and secure contract files on the digital platforms.

    Reporting and Analytics

    • Generate regular reports on contract status, upcoming renewals, and expirations.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on contract data analysis.

    Stakeholder Communication

    • Act as a liaison between Procurement, Legal, and other departments to resolve any contract-related issues.
    • Communicate with vendors as needed to clarify contract terms or address concerns.

    Process Improvement

    • Identify opportunities to streamline contract management processes and implement best practices.
    • Assist in developing and updating contract management policies and procedures.

    Support Procurement Activities

    • Provide support to the Procurement team in other contract-related tasks and projects as needed.
    • Assist in the preparation and administration of RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement activities.
    • Support the business with managing vendor/supplier performance in relation to contractual agreements.
    • Provide ongoing assistance to staff in the administration of contractual agreements.

    Educational Requirements

    Relevant qualification

    Experience Requirements

    • 2- 3 years’ administration experience in publishing environment.
    • Experience in a procurement environment, with an understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
    • Experience working with Bookmaster (Advantageous)

    Financial Manager

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Drive profitability in the business through strategic pricing and efficient structuring
    • Take a lead in the management team in trouble shooting problems and implementing solutions
    • Report on financial results and variances to budget and defining and implementing corrective actions
    • Involvement in commercial activities such as customer relationships and pricing
    • Prepare budgets and forecasts
    • Manage and motivate the finance team
    • Maintain an effective internal control environment
    • Manage credit risks and working capital
    • Liaise and work closely with the central finance team

    Educational Requirements

    • Completed CA/CIMA qualification
    • Registered with SAICA/CIMA (Essential)

    Experience Requirements

    • At least 6 years’ experience as a Financial Manager who has worked in a FMCG environment
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages as well as ERP accounting packages such as Accumatica
