    Permanent Sales Assistant - Poetry Waterfront

    Sales Agent - JHB

    Description       

    Sparks & Ellis is looking for a dynamic, target-driven and self-motivated Sales Representative responsible for the Johannesburg Branch. The successful candidate must have the ability to actively source new business through various means and maintain key relationships with our existing client base.

    Requirements   

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Valid Code 08 Driver’s License
    • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
    • A minimum of 5 years demonstrated sales experience.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in the clothing and footwear industry.
    • Knowledge of fabrics would be advantageous.

    Key Duties:

    Ecommerce Product Coordinator

    Key Duties

    • Set up and maintain product catalogues – including product names, descriptions, attributes, images & videos
    • Setup & maintain website navigation catalogue – aligned to product assortments & brand strategies
    • Maintain website search & keywords to align with customer expectations, and drive conversion
    • Optimise the use of AI & personalization tools, including sorting rules & product recommendations
    • Maintain relevant UGC – including product reviews & Instagram feeds
    • Perform regular QA & website audits to ensure website content is of the highest standard
    • Assist with user testing as needed for any website enhancements or project implementations
    • Respond to issues or queries from customers, internal and/or external teams as needed

    Job Requirements

    Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

    • At least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar position
    • Matric and related tertiary education in digital/ eCommerce
    • High-level understanding of web design and web analysis
    • Experience with eCommerce platforms, Google Analytics & SEO
    • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, display & affiliate marketing
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Excel)
    • Domain knowledge in eCommerce, retail, online advertising and/or analytics
