    Debt Collector Supervisor | Europcar | Bruma, Johannesburg

    Job Outputs:

    • Manage team to meet KPI’s, including but not limited to achievement of collection targets.
    • Manage daily queries with internal & external customers and relevant stakeholders.
    • Monitor and manage all customer communications to ensure effective and professional standards are maintained.
    • Monitor and manage all customer feedback to ensure positive CSI is maintained.
    • Monthly book reviews and performance reviews with team members.
    • Approve authorization from banks for credit card transactions.
    • Ensure daily recons are reviewed and managed within the guidelines set out by standard operating procedures.
    • Provide support and assistance to staff to resolve problems effectively and without delay.
    • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly reports are compiled and submitted timeously.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years relevant senior debtors/credit control experience.
    • 3+ years experience in a supervisory capacity.
    • Experience in the car rental industry is a necessity.

    Minimum Education:

    • Matric
    • Tertiary qualification in Credit Management or Finance (NQF5+).

    Minimum Requirements:

    • A Code 08 unendorsed drivers’ license.
    • Developed proficiency in MS Excel/Word/Outlook.

    Specialist: Technician – Service

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    • To carry out diagnostic work and to implement the relevant actions required in terms of servicing / repairing vehicles.
    • To take steps to ensure the servicing of vehicles remains within the targeted percentages of the manufacturers' time.
    • To discuss matters with the service advisors and customers as required and to provide concrete explanations.
    • To ensure standards are maintained with vehicle care and safety whilst performing functions.
    • To ensure vehicles are returned to the customer after service in a neat and clean condition.
    • To adhere to Motus as well as OEM policies, procedures, and expectations.
    • To recommend purchases of capital equipment if need be.
    • To complete all forms and documentation as required and to draft relevant reports if need be.
    • To mentor apprentices, sign off logbooks and evaluate their technical ability.
    • Ensure effective communication with staff, across departments, with customers and service providers.
    • Willingness to participate in marketing campaigns when required.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Valid Trade certificate as technician – essential.
    • Valid unendorsed drivers’ license.
    • 2 - 3 Year technician experience within the automotive industry.
    • Proven track record for “Fix right first-time.”
    • The following qualifications / experience will be advantageous:
    • OEM recognized certifications and OEM experience as technician.
    • Health and safety related

    Skills and Personal Attributes

    Job Outputs:

    • Receive and invoice damage and theft claims according to Terms and Conditions pertaining to rental
    • Control and effectively manage the amount of un-invoiced claims through invoicing and within prescribed timelines

    • 2 years car rental and/or claims administrator experience

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    • Extensive / hands-on diary management and co-ordination of meetings and executive programs
    • Preparing for meetings and ensuring all relevant documents and reports are provided to the Executive in advance

    Staff:

    Technician (Hyundai Boksubrg)

    Key Duties And Responsibilities

    • Repair and service vehicles according to specific or franchise specifications
    • Establish parts required for service or repairs to be performed and ensure the correct parts are ordered
    • Report to Foreman / Service Advisor promptly on any additional work required
    • Obtain authorisation prior to carrying out additional work
    • Obtain technical information from Foreman / Master Technician on problem jobs
    • Adhere to Motus workshop policies and procedures
    • Ensure that all old parts are placed in a plastic bag in the boot of the vehicle, except in the case of warranty work where old parts must be returned to the Warranty Clerk
    • Ensure that all oils and consumables used are recorded on the job card
    • Ensure that worked hours are clocked correctly
    • Ensure that the vehicle is kept as clean as possible and that all seat and fender covers are clean
    • Do not leave keys in an unattended vehicle
    • Ensure that work bay is kept safe, clean and tidy
    • Report any faulty / broken equipment to the Foreman / Workshop Manager
    • Ensure that special tools and equipment are used according to safety regulations and specifications
    • Ensure that hand tools set conforms to Motus standard
    • Accept responsibility for apprentice and impart as much technical knowledge to him as possible through explanation, practice and the monitoring of work, including rectifying faults
    • Reasonable requests by Management outside your job description will be performed from time to time
