    Contracts Specialist

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Legal Contracts Management, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Provide input into legal policies and monitor the impact of external factors.
    • Conduct research on relevant standards, laws, regulations and applicable prescripts to ensure compliance.
    • Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
    • Implement relevant policies, processes, standards and controls for contract management.
    • Review standard contracts frequently to ensure compliance with changes in corporate strategy, category strategies and legislative requirements.
    • Support category managers and business with contract negotiations during supplier and commercial tendering.

    • Ensure remedial actions are implemented timeously to address non-conformances.
    • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals.
    • Provide legal advice/opinion and participate in the Tender Preparation and Evaluation Committee (TPEC), Central Bid Adjudication Committees (CBAC), and National Bid Adjudication Committee (NBAC).

    Technical Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (3 years – 360 credits) NQF 7 in Law or equivalent legal qualification is essential.
    • Bachelor’s degree (4 years - 480 credits) NQF 8 in LLB is advantageous.

    The successful candidate, reporting to the Group Manager, Legal & Information Privacy, will be responsible for the following:

    • Perform and oversee office administration.

    The Technician Mechanical Maintenance will report to the Manager Mechanical Maintenance. The following services are required of this role:

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Local Airport Manager, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Responsible for airfield services department which include ARFF, Safety management, Apron services and Bird and Wildlife management.
    • Contribute to the development of the business plan and develop and implement departmental operational plans.

     Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Terminal Operations, and will be responsible but not limited to the          following:

    • Facilitate and regulate capacity for each process and manage any pressure points in terms of passenger and aircraft flow.
    • Responsible for airport (terminal) capacity through coordinating infrastructure maintenance and development projects to achieve a high level of infrastructure availability in a safe operating environment. Management of real time capacity for exceptional circumstances (events/weather related) in coordination with the AMC.
    • Perform research to ensure best practice in all processes throughout operations. Take the initiative to introduce new concepts for facilitation processes and co-ordinate these requirements division within Operations.
    • Manage results of ASQ and QMS surveys and define corrective action where required.
    • Strive for continuous improvement with respect to the end to end process on behalf of operations.

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Operational Planning and AMC, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Monitor stakeholder compliance across all PBA processes including AMC representatives.
    • Ensure daily operational plans are completed, review quality, critical information is communicated, and according to agreed standards.
    • Verify and update procedures for continuous improvement.
    • Ensuring execution of the AMC decisions, monitor implementation and resolution of the event.
