    Provincial Market Development Specialist

    What will you do?

    • Maintains regular contact with key accounts by calling and negotiating prices, promotions and/or services. Agrees terms and conditions of trade with key accounts. Maintains an excellent communication link with distributors/major chain stores, meeting with them and Head office regularly. Controls and pays out rebates. Produces quarterly review and submits regular reports to management. Ensures distributors /key accounts have latest price lists at all times.

    • Management of key Accounts to enhance business quality, sustainability , and profitability and profitability.
    • Identification and acquisition of prime market opportunities and Key Accounts. 
    • Building strong and sustainable business relationships through Key Account Management Strategy. 
    • Activity, productivity and performance management of Sales Managers 
    • Vesting Branch Manager, Sales Manager and Financial Advisors in Key Accounts 
    • Stakeholder management and engagement  both internally and externally . 
    • Business development and unearthing of new sales and business opportunities. 
    • Identify and facilitate up and cross- selling opportunities within the Group and Sanlam Sector 
    • Enablement of long- term growth, sustainability, market presence and affinity in the SRM (Sanlam Retail Mass) sector.
    • Undertake appropriate planning for new and Key Account. 
    • Co-ordinate and direct sales and market initiatives. 
    • Conduct Market research and provide guidance in terms of current and future business opportunities.
    • Ensure adherence to legislative requirements, Sanlam and Key account processes, procedures and policies. 

    Qualification and Experience

    • Degree or Diploma with 4 to 6 years related experience.
