    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure the accuracy of daily/weekly/monthly reporting statistics to your manager
    • Ensure that Teams are trained to effectively deal with account queries, audit queries and account updates.
    • Ensure compliance of customer and branch deposit to company policy in terms of approvals/fund allocations etc. Ensure that all internal control procedures are followed. Report on deviations to procedures and corrective actions.
    • Work closely with internal audits to continuously understand where potential risks may increase. Address these risks and ensure that appropriate interventions are proposed/implemented in order to mitigate risks.
    • Ensure that errors in administration of this function is minimized
    • Ensure that the team displays good customer service principles in their dealings with customers and other internal team members/departments/branches as well as turnaround times for account queries
    • Ensure the department is optimally staffed at all times
    • Review internal control procedures to ensure that controls are in place to manage staff/staff accountability and to be pro-active in managing and highlighting potential concerns.
    • Ensure that the company brand and image is promoted through excellent customer service
    • Identify root causes of customer and audit queries and look at ways and initiatives to reduce specific customer/audit queries where appropriate, based on the nature of the query
    • Ensure queries are resolved timeously and at point of call where possible
    • Ensure quality targets are achieved and interventions are implemented to increase quality where there are shortfalls
    • Identify ways in which to increase motivation and team work and to foster a positive work environment

    • Conduct performance review with the team members
    • Implement strategies to manage staff conduct and ensure poor performance procedures/disciplinary processes are followed consistently where required
    • Monthly feedback meeting reporting, trend reporting, resource management reporting etc.
    • Work closely with other departments, such as mobile, internet betting, internet/mobile helpline, telephonic betting call center, to understand the dependencies that exist between departments, if any.
    • Ensure agents tasked to the banks allocate deposits to customer accounts accurately and promptly using the deposit app and follow necessary procedures thereafter.
    • Ensure that unaccounted transactions are attending to daily, and reports received from audit are returned updated.
    • Monitor that Agents tasked to branch withdrawals, process them timeously and that there are no outstanding withdrawal requests.
    • Assist agents with customer ‘H3’ (ID verification) checks in relation to withdrawals.
    • Ensure that partially completed (approved but not accepted) withdrawals are followed up with, with the branches.
    • Ensure Agents tasked to calls, Live Chat and email queries respond to customers correctly and timeously and ensure that agents perform relevant security checks on all customer communication platforms.
    • Monitor the call system dashboard to ensure that there are sufficient agents always logged in and that no agents are taking unnecessary pause outs.
    • Monitor agents’ tasks throughout the day to ensure that the team is tasked as optimally as possible and make necessary changes to the task list as and when required.
    • Monitor Agents by walking the floor and ensuring that they adhere to their daily duties.
    • Assisting clients when receiving escalations from Agents.
    • Verify various payments on all payment portals.
    • Ensure that the Deposits share folder is monitored and kept up to date daily.
    • Assist with ad hoc journal credits to customer accounts from time to time when authorized by the appropriate managers

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a vigilant and proactive VIP Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our branch operations. As a VIP Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, conducting various security tasks, and providing excellent guest service. You will play a crucial role in protecting both our guests and staff while upholding the brand's values and standards.

    What You Bring:

    • Grade C (Security Qualification)
    • Computer literate
    • 1-2 years Security experience
    • Registered with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority)
    • Valid driver’s license (Preferred but not required)

    What You’ll Do For The Brand:

    Opening Procedures:

    • Arrive 15 minutes before the branch opens.
    • Be present during the branch opening with the Branch Manager/Senior Team Leader.
    • Conduct a perimeter patrol before the branch opens.
    • Check for any suspicious activity around the premises before opening.
    • Ensure that all observation checks are completed before the Branch Manager/Senior Team Leader starts their daily checks.

    Daily Security Tasks:

    • Conduct a floor walk once the branch is open to ensure everything is in order.
    • Position one VIP Officer away from the entrance during opening and closing to observe and check for potential dangers.
    • Patrol inside and outside the branch, including back areas and parking areas.
    • Ensure all two-way radios are fully charged and report any faulty equipment immediately.
    • Ensure panic buttons and two-way radios are in good working condition and used appropriately.

    Search and Security Protocols:

    • Use scanners to search all guests entering the branch, including team members.
    • Maintain proper scanning procedures, with gender-specific searches (male guests by male VIP Officers, female guests by female VIP Officers).
    • Direct traffic and manage foot traffic flow and vehicle entries and exits.
    • Minimize high-risk entry by sliding close one door at the end of the day.

    Guest Service:

    • Greet guests with “Good day, welcome to Hollywood” and ensure a positive first impression.
    • Provide friendly, helpful, and courteous service at all times.
    • Proactively address guest complaints and communicate feedback effectively.
    • Maintain a guest-centric culture with a “service with a smile” approach.
    • Wish guests a good evening or night as they leave and invite them to return.

    Compliance:

    • Wear full Amadoda uniforms with name badges before beginning your shift.
    • Scan all individuals entering the premises, including team members.
    • Enforce the policy of no bags, weapons, alcohol, or persons under 18 inside the premises.

    Internal Control Accountant2

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for 2 Internal Control Accountants who will develop and maintain a robust control environment for the iBranch operation. You will ensure transaction accuracy and integrity, adapt procedures for system upgrades and new integrations, and safeguard the business against financial loss.

    You Bring:

    • Computer literate. (MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint).
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • 2 years of practical auditing/accounting experience.

    What You’ll Do For The Brand:

    Financial Metrics/Operational Duties

    • Work closely with the relevant senior accountant(s) and Group iBranch Accountant.
    • Collect and analyse data to detect reconciliation weaknesses and identify key and residual risks.
    • Ensure all transactions are accounted for in Pastel and reconciled.
    • Reconciliation of Mobile Vouchers and ensuring adequate controls are implemented to safeguard the company against financial loss.
    • Reconciliation of Tax2/Tax3 Data to ensure accuracy of gambling tax payments.
    • Maintain and enhance daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations.
    • Implementing controls for third party integrations and ensuring transactions are auditable.
    • Escalate client debit balances and reconciliation variances that have not been cleared within the standard operating procedures/timeframe.
    • Work closely with the development and operational teams to test interactions and new products.
    • Ensure supporting financial records are accurate and reliable and available prior to new product deployment (data, tax, balances report and balancing the account reports). Where there are deviations to this notification of senior management is required.
    • Oversee the deployment of new reconciliation software and/or related processes.
    • Ensure daily reconciliation signoffs are performed by the team on the nominated software.
    • Support junior staff and assist with the resolution and escalation of variances.
    • Submit a daily report summarising key aspects of the daily sign offs.
    • Identify and rectify weaknesses within procedures, processes, policies and related internal control frameworks.
    • Continuously look to improve efficiency and effectiveness through ongoing learning/development and new techniques.

    • Produce high quality, neat, logical, succinct, easy to follow, easy to understand, formula linked work/templates/workbooks/financial models/recons - of which is substantiated by facts with no numbers in the formulas.
    • Ensure the above (final version) and other documents are chronologically saved/backed up.
    • Ensure Monthly recons are finalised and saved with supporting photos on the designated software.
    • Summarise the detailed daily findings on the designated software and submit a daily report to the Group retail accountant and Group Risk and Finance Manager.
    • Effectively deal with internal, external, SARS, NCA and BEE auditors.
    • Promote declaration of all gifts and report suspicious requests to clear queries from departments responding to queries.
    • To escalate a single shortage of R2k or greater to the Group ibranch Accountant and or Group Risk and Finance Manager
    • Promote declaration all conflicts of interest upfront.
    • Promote a culture of confidentiality within the business with regards to the protection of personal information.
    • Promote a culture of compliance with FICA and AML regulations with regards to reporting of suspicious transactions.

    • Ensure that relevant IBranch Policies, Procedures, Manuals and training manuals are maintained and updated accordingly.
