    Senior Marketing Coordinator

    Job Description

    • We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join the UK team based in Umhlanga. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all marketing activities and responsible for creating and delivering marketing ideas and activities. Concepts and creates marketing materials, manages projects, and ensures company messages are consistent. Oversees the marketing assistants.

    You Bring:

    • 2 – 3 Years Administrative Management
    • 2 – 3 Years Operations Admin or Support
    • 2 – 3 Years Marketing experience
    • Valid driver’s license essential

    A bonus to have:

    • Diploma/ Degree in related field or a Business Management Degree

    What You’ll Do For The Brand:

    • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analysing strategy objectives and sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organising promotional presentations; and updating calendars.
    • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising reports.
    • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; and verifying receipts.
    • Support the Social Media team with concepts & execution of strategies
    • Support Digital Marketing teams with major campaigns.
    • Manage the entire Sponsorship Portfolio and develop ideas aligned with the overall strategy
    • Research competitor activities and create a competitor analysis by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.
    • Monitors budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
    • Create, deliver, edit, and optimise marketing materials.
    • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
    • Provide support to the marketing department.
    • Coordinate the flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy.
    • Assist with the creation of thought leadership materials for the blog & website.
    • Research media coverage and industry trends.
    • Develop fresh story ideas.
    • Conduct extensive media outreach.
    • Improve communication efficiencies within the company.
    • Management and coordination of special projects
    • Works directly with senior management on projects
    • Management of advertising in print, TV and online
    • Identify branding and partnership opportunities as well as new business opportunities and branding rollout (billboards, radio, newspaper etc.)
    • Advise on improving promotions and personalising for specific brands/outlets/markets
    • Manage formal and informal partnerships with suppliers, customers and other companies
    • Train new team members and ensure all employees are up to date on current marketing standards and procedures.
    • Delegation of tasks and deadlines
    • Set marketing budget and create projects, direct resources, and establish benchmarks that ensure budget goals are met.
    • Management of junior marketing team and intern
