    Snr Spec: Test Automation Engineer

    Purpose

    • Liberty is looking for an automation engineer who is also versed in manual testing. Amongst the top responsibility for this role, is to create a robust automation framework for liberty and ensure processes are fully automated. Below are the main responsibilities:

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
    • Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
    • Identify and prioritize test cases for automation based on business impact and risk analysis.
    • Analyse the requirements, identify new opportunities for automation, create and maintain automation Scripts.
    • Collaborate with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • Perform debugging and troubleshooting of automated test scripts and test failures.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
    • Design test cases, test, and automate applications in various environments to help improve processes, save costs, and achieve better outcomes.
    • Create repos and automation pipeline for regression suites and functional testing.

    Additional Key Responsibilities

    • Understand company processes, provide automation solution for those processes, and include results validation.
    • Work closely with development and product teams to establish testing strategies, design, and implement test plans, and develop automated tests that cover various aspects of the application, including UI and functionality.
    • Integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensure that software releases are dependable and of high quality.
    • Testing and troubleshooting systems/applications (Once the automation scripts are in place, ensure that the scripts function correctly (Supervising the automation processes regularly.)
    • Ability to define test scenarios, test cases and execute test cases manually.
    • Additionally, troubleshoot and diagnose issues in systems under test, contributing to the continuous improvement of the software development process.
    • Provide accurate and timely test execution and progress reports.
    • The ability to do knowledge transfer of his/her automation skills.

    Minimum Experience

    • 4-6 + years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test / Test Automation Engineer.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as UFT, Selenium and other automation tools.
    • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Experience with web application testing and desktop application testing.
    • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.
    • Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, test management tools and continuous integration tools (GIT, Jenkins, ADO).
    • Proficient in SQL databases.
    • Insurance business knowledge will be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BSC degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
    • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.

    Spec: Information Security Operations (Endpoint Security)

    Purpose

    • To support and enable IDN/AGS for Identity Access Management, provisioning, de-provisioning privileged access across Liberty. To be accountable for the management and provision of privileged Identity Access as the first point of contact into the organisation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify opportunities for Continual Service Improvements across systems, people and processes
    • Be abreast of industry best practices and strive to continuously improve the process.
    • Ensure that all reporting and documentation is completed.
    • Ensure that quality data is provided to the incident management process in order for the downstream areas to operate effectively.
    • Develop, document and implement standards, policies and procedures and governance guidelines in accordance to CyberArk with alignment to existing business processes.
    • Manage relationships and service provided by vendors and third parties.
    • Ensure all compliance and audit requirements are maintained consistently.
    • Facilitate communication within the functional units and ensure that the CyberArk/Beyond Trust, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly to various functional areas.
    • Schedule the work of technical support staff

    Additional Key Responsibilities

    • Respond to escalated, complex and high impact user calls in a timely fashion and undertake site visits to resolve persistent or high impact problems.
    • Manage quality of work and productivity of team.
    • Have knowledge and understanding of complex access management issues and formulate a response.
    • Keep in touch constantly with industry trends and global standards relevant to end user services, support and experience.
    • Monitor record and track operational problems through resolution.
    • Evaluate effectiveness of existing policies, strategies and standards and make recommendations or changes.
    • Be aware of and evaluate current and emerging technologies to establish their relevance and feasibility for inclusion in the strategy and possible opportunities for the business.
    • Monitor, record, effectively address and track access related challenges.
    • Undertake the necessary testing for system upgrades/enhancements.

    Minimum Experience

    • 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment, of which 1 - 2 years at specialist level

    Minimum Qualifications

    • One or more of the following Certification(s): GPEN, OSCP, CISSP, CEH, Security +
    • Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas [NQF Level 07] in Information Technology and Computer Sciences

    Specialist: Group Access Management Administrator

    Purpose

    • To support the Identity, Access Management &Governance (IAM&G) project team to implement the various project phases of the Access & Governance System (IDN/AGS). Implement and drive business readiness activities.
    • Take responsibility for the on-boarding of IT and business /operational areas in cleaning up and maintaining user access data to enable the identity access management and governance processes and practices.
    • Implement and drive the execution of all clean-up activities. Nurture, collaborate & maintain open communication channels with GAM and all support teams Perform functional and user testing on IDN/AGS.
    • Support & Administer the new system.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement and support the Request fulfilment, Access certification, Policy Violation and Role management processes
    • Support and drive the co-ordination of cross-functional teams to facilitate and drive business readiness
    • Receive clean up reports online/via e-mail from Manage to green process and User access reviews/clean-up
    • Execute and drive the manual remediation of access based on system and user account reviews as well as new, removed or changed roles
    • Track and report on the progress of manual system clean-up workload
    • Support the business’ needs for ongoing technical support, cleansing of access entitlements and the take-on of systems
    • Support & Assist in the development of reporting to address management requirements to obtain information.
    • Communicate via email, telephonic, direct engagements, group meetings, and presentations to end users, system owners and management.
    • Respond to requests from end users, system owners, managers and team members for specific GAM data/ information.

    Minimum Experience

    • Demonstrates competence in problem solving within the context of controlling information and communications re. access control fundamentals and standards. Has a broad knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and architectures and of the principles and processes of implementing and delivering IT services. Have above average communication skills for dealing with users, other staff and suppliers.
    • 2 – 5 years IT experience.
    • At least 3 years in information systems / security admin role.
    • Exposure to IT Change and Release management will be beneficial.
    • Knowledge of COBIT and/or ITIL and Access Management Standards / Frameworks will be beneficial.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Preferably educated to degree level or 2 to 5 years IT experience in a variety of IT functions (See below).
    • Certification in IT Administration / Information Systems Management
    • Matric, A+ and or N+
