    General Ledger Accountant

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monthly reconciliation of all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ledger accounts
    • Balance GL to AR and AP sub-system balances
    • Process all payments and receipts via the ERP system and reconcile statements
    • Obtain and process IC invoices and supporting documents from IC partners
    • Reconcile IC balances with other IC partners
    • Ensure that the General Ledger and Fixed Asset/Lease sub-systems are aligned
    • Apply technical knowledge to the capitalization and decapitalization of assets
    • Quarterly lease expense reconciliations and submission to Corporate Head Office.
    • Prepare and process all relevant journals with appropriate supporting information ▪ Ensure the accounting records correctly reflect the results of business units’ financial position
    • Maintain Balance Sheet Reconciliations in line with corporate requirements ▪ Follow up on corrections and clearing of any required balance sheet reconciling items within appropriate timelines
    • Analyze revenue and expenses so they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis and report on variance
    • Organize and preparation of monthly, quarterly, yearly financials that meet the NOV reporting requirements in terms of quality of accounting, deadlines and documentation of controls.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance. (essential)
    • Professional Accountant (SA), AGA (SA) (desired)

    EXPERIENCE

    • SAIPA/SAICA Articles/formal accounting training, knowledge of IFRS (essential
    • 2-3 years accounting experience (essential)
    • Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX reporting. (Advantageous)

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 

    • Strong understanding of accounting theory
    • Highly detail orientated and organized in work
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency with email and Microsoft applications
    • ERP system experience

    Temp Foreign Payments Clerk

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with the preparation of paperwork pack for foreign inter-company payments
    • Match tax invoice with corresponding commercial invoice and customs documents
    • Keep accurate records of preparation and payment status of each invoice
    • Communicate with Logistics team on any documents queries
    • Follow up on discrepencies until solved and ready for payment
    • If applicable, ensure that all the organization’s activities and operations are carried out in compliance with the laws governing such business operations.
    • If applicable, create and/or control structures and processes necessary to manage the current activities within area of responsibility
    • If applicable, oversee subordinates and ensure implementation of organization’s policies
    • If applicable, ensure communication and adequate information flow within area of responsibility
    • If applicable, ensure the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood
    • If applicable, ensure the execution of the organizations operating policies. Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees Interview, hire and train employees if applicable

    EXPERIENCE

    • Experience working within an Admin/Finance team 
    • Familiarity with customs documents and foreign payments

    Documentation Assistant

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Track parts and materials required for repair WO’s, ensuring that due dates are known to enhance project scheduling accuracy.
    • Assist with compiling Project Parts and Material Lists
    • Print drawings, procedures and compile work pack as needed.
    • Update and revise routers in the ERP System based on WO requirements.
    • Enter and update BOM (Bill of Materials) in ERP system.
    • Monitor status of production and OSV work scopes. Identify any issues that may impact our ability to deliver on time and/or on budget.
    • Coordinate work scopes / Quality Plans with all applicable parties. 
    • Assist with create Engineering Concessions and coordinate with Engineering as required
    • Assist with compiling COC’s/SOF’s
    • Assist with creating Databook Compilation within a DMS

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Senior Certificate plus related tertiary qualifications
    • National Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering beneficial

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • Experience in Manufacturing/Repair environment preferred. 

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 

    • Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate to advance level preferred in excel specifically
    • NOV RigDoc - Basic to advanced knowledge level preferred
    • Proficiency preferred in NOV systems including Tracker, RigOffice, Team Centre, ERP (Glovia)
    • Interpret schematics, drawings and bill of materials

    Maintenance Millwright

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To promptly respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
    • Apply trouble-shooting and fault finding techniques to identify the cause of the breakdown.
    • Effect quick and robust repairs
    • Use the correct tools and spares to ensure that the machines / equipment are correctly and safely repaired. 
    • Ensure that machines / equipment are installed according to recognised standards, procedures and plans.
    • Ensure that machines are installed in line with relevant Health and Safety regulations

    QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • Technical Grade 12, Minimum N4- N6, completed a recognised millwright apprenticeship and passed a recognised trade test in the trade of millwright. 
    • Alternatively, qualified through experience and/or recognition of prior learning 

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • Experience as a Millwright within a heavy engineering environment

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 

    • Attention to detail
    • Electronic fault finding
    • CNC system navigation
    • PLC programming and fault finding (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenheim)
    • CNC retrofitting
