    Head - Project Management

    Requirements

    • A BSc or BTech degree in Civil Engineering
    • Eligible for Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
    • Minimum 8 years relevant experience, including project or programme management within a Transport, Roads and Stormwater implementation environment.
    • A valid Code B driver licence and own transport
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Built Environment and Project Management functions.
    • Ability to operate independently at a highly proficient level

    Key Performance Areas

    • Manage the regional capital works projects for the Urban Mobility Directorate.
    • Project manage, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of multidiscipline capital works projects within the Transport, Roads and Stormwater environment.

    Principal Facility Officer

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent Technical Qualification (minimum NQF Level 4) in the Civil or Construction related discipline
    • A National Diploma/degree in the Civil or Construction will be advantageous
    • Up to 6-7 years proven Facilities Management experience in Public Transport maintenance, cleaning, and security procedures and processes environment

    Key Performance Areas

    Senior Auditor

    Requirements

    • Relevant B Degree with a preference for auditing or internal audit as a major and second major in a subject relevant to audit specialisation, such as Accounting or Computer Science.
    • Minimum of 5 years of audit-related experience and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in an audit-related role.
    • Preference for individuals registered with a recognised audit or relevant professional institute/body.
    • Preference for Internal Audit Technicians and those pursuing relevant professional certifications (e.g., Professional Internal Auditor, Certified Internal Auditor) with completed articles or IIA Learnerships.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Experience with SAP and BarnOwl Audit Software Solution is preferred.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Plan, lead, conduct, and control the audit work according to norms and standards.

    • Perform internal audit activities and monitor the performance of internal audit project activities in compliance with relevant legislation, policies, regulations, frameworks, standards (e.g. IPPF), and guidelines.
    • Communicate outcomes in accordance with audit standards, approved policies and procedures, and leading practices.
    • Apply working knowledge of governance, controls, and risk management.

    Head (Asset Management) - IS Audit

    Requirements

    • A relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification with Auditing/Information Systems as a major subject / BComm: Internal Auditing is preferred
    • A minimum of 5 years appropriate Information Systems audit experience of which 3 years should be in a supervisory/management role
    • A valid driver’s licence
    • Exposure to SAP and BarnOwl Audit Software Solution would be preferred
    • CISA, CRISK, CGEIT or related Information Systems Security certification would be advantageous
    • ISACA membership in good standing would be preferred

    Key Performance Areas

    • Providing input into the development of an Internal Audit performance scorecard and 3-year rolling Strategic Audit Plan

    Operator - Mechanical Plant - Grade 3

    Requirements

    • Basic Literacy.
    • At least 3 years’ relevant experience.
    • Knowledge of the relevant standard operating procedures of mechanical plant equipment (i.e. Scraper – elevating, asphalt paver, dozer class 4 (LPG) – swamp, excavator – loader (TLB), crane – hydraulic, grader – haul roads) and machinery and safety standards in the operation of a Mechanical Plant.
    • Understanding of Reticulation networks and plumbing/construction processes.
    • Appropriate license, code C1, EC1, C or EC.
    • Valid Competence Certification for heavy mechanical plant ESSENTIAL.

    Note: The successful candidate will be required to work outside normal working hours during emergencies and planned overtime and be on standby when required.

    • Performs specific tasks/activities at the Depot & worksite prior to and on completion of allocated maintenance assignments.
    • Completes internal transactional documentation (e.g. daily sheets, log sheet, progress report etc.).

    Technician - Telecommunications Network Services

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a National Diploma in electrical engineering (light current), electronic engineering or equivalent.
    • 2 – 3 years’ experience in workshop repairs, maintenance and programming of TETRA two-way radios (hand portables & mobile radios)
    • Experience in working at high sites and knowledge of TETRA technology and analogue repeater equipment will be advantageous.
