Telesales Representative - Bloemfontein at Media24 (Pty) Ltd

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Selling of classified advertisements (for Central24 media publications) through the daily generation of new business.
• Canvassing for advertisements in the classifieds section of the newspapers as well as digital ads
• Liaising with clients with regard to the design, layout and placing of advertisements.
• Stimulating the market by creating new opportunities to satisfy clients’ advertising needs.
• Achieving sales targets and adhering to deadlines
• Generating new revenues
• Servicing current clients and growing sales
• Building portfolio of clients
• Ensure that calls and e-mail queries are answered appropriately within given time frame
• Assist with queries related to cover, payments, benefits, advertising sales, etc.;
• Log details of calls on dashboard system for tracking purposes, ensuring classification in the correct categories;
• Provide feedback to members and service providers on progress of queries/outstanding issues;
• Relevant administration

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Senior Certificate (tertiary qualification in marketing will be advantageous)
• Good computer, typing/spelling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good language skills – fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Good telephone etiquette.
• Adhering to deadlines – working under pressure
• 2 years’ experience in the media industry is an advantage.
• 2 year’s sales experience is essential.
