    Senior Digital Marketing Manager - Cape Town

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Develops and implements the overarching strategy for D2C and third-party e-commerce operations and digital media placements driven by consumer insights, marketing strategy and EM’s context.
    • Develops clear and concise digital strategy briefs for external partners and agencies, providing strategic direction, objectives, and guidelines to ensure the operational plan output aligns with brand messaging and campaign goals.
    • Implements 360° digital campaign plans to attract and acquire new customers through digital channels.
    • Ensures connectivity with demand side platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and programmatic advertising platforms, to build long-term partnerships and joint ventures to leverage market and industry first digital instruments whilst remaining up to date of changes which may impact strategy and approach.
    • Drives the marketing automation agenda using data-driven workflows, tools, and platforms to streamline and optimize digital media operations through audience segmentation, triggered campaigns, lead nurturing, and personalized messaging.
    • Lead analysis & Subject Matter Expertise of platforms/projects/improvements for Digital Channels encompassing ecommerce, CRM, Campaign Management, Social, SEO, data analytics.
    • Establishes budgetary control and supervise execution to ensure optimum utilization of resources in accordance with important metrics.
    • Drives return on investment maximization, ensuring continual optimization for digital campaigns for cost and performance efficiency guided by testing outcomes (A/B testing) and data-driven decisions.
    • Ensures smooth functioning and optimization of the e-commerce platform to enable a seamless journey for online customers.
    • Collaborates & connects with business development and 3P partners to ensure operational stability for fulfilment.
    • Collaborates with service partners to continuously drive enhancements for owned platforms with the aim to improve customer retention, loyalty, and lifetime value.
    • Responsible for purchase procedure and conformance to BAT procurement governance and supplier SoX controls
    • Lead and Live the BAT Values  across marketing and business

    ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics, or business-related fields
    • Ideally minimum 7 years of experience in digital strategies and 360° campaign with proven track record of both developing and successfully deploying strategies to meet set goals
    • Strong, hands-on technical competence in digital marketing with requisite certifications
    • Have strong analytical approach. Able to understand consumer and customer data sets and generate insights to identify new business opportunities and drive business growth.
    • Exposure to a multi-national and cross-functional work environment is a plus
    • Ability to collaborate and work efficiently through relationships, persuasion, and influence

    Sourcing Executive: Indirect - Heidelberg

    WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

    • To understand customer/business unit requirements including their business goals, targets, initiatives, directions for their appointed end market
    • Deliver the aligned category financial objectives from procurement sourcing processes
    • To manage the customer relationship and all aspects of procurement related customer service for Indirect goods and services for End Markets
    • To facilitate and ensure the End-to-End Sourcing process for Indirect category
    • To collate all relevant End Market Business Unit procurement requirements, providing the necessary information to ensure robust planning, budget and target setting.
    • Ensure compliance for active suppliers within End Market and Category
    • Collaborate to deliver End Market contracts in conjunction with Legal and Relationship Managerand ensure all contracts are agreed with the relevant business owners in alignment with BAT ESG and EHS requirements.
    • Ensure that the appropriate metrics, i.e. measurement tools, are in place and being used effectively to monitor and explain overall Indirect Procurement performance

    ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • 3-5 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations and/or Account Management
    • Indirect Sourcing experience would be an added advantage
    • Experience in managing projects, especially to execute category and sourcing strategies at end market level
    • Experienced in the sourcing process, including negotiation and contracts placement
    • Good understanding of key cost drivers and evaluation of profit and loss
    • Experience with procurement processes, platforms and policies
    • Knowledge of corporate regulations and local legislation to ensure sound input during negotiations and input to contracts
    • Understand of risk and compliance controls
    • Good level of Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

    Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

    • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant business discipline (Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics Procurement
    • and/or Engineering)
    • MCIPS/CIMA/MBA/CA are beneficial.
