Purpose:
Validate member information in support of financing applications to prevent the processing and finalization of fraudulent transactions
Key Functions:
- Confirm and validate the following for all new member applications: Identity, Employment Confirmation, Income Information, Banking Details, Credit Bureau information, Contact numbers (work, Cell and home numbers), Next of kin details
- Confirm and validate the following for all existing member applications referred as per the fraud prevention module: Identity matched against scanned documentation, Signature validated against membership application document and previous transactions, Income Differentials from previous application, Validate banking details, Validate next of kin information , Validate contact numbers (work, Cell and home numbers)
- Decline/Approve financing application in line with the Fraud prevention module
- Contribute to the comparative tracking of fraudulent transactions (number, trends and type) against previous periods and industry trends
- Identify process/policy improvement opportunities to support the minimization of approved fraudulent transactions and make recommendations
- Develop and maintain good relations with respective Employer Groups and other external stakeholders
- Maintain good relations with all consultants and credit vetting department to ensure to ensure timely and efficient service to all members
- Attend to all telephone enquiries
- Complaints handling from parties
