    Test Analyst

    What will you do?

    • This role has the primary responsibility to plan, structure and undertake business- and system testing processes. It will also undertake application testing within Sanlam Corporate’s application and integration testing with other systems. This role works closely with other Business Analysts, System Analysts, IT development and Audit to ensure business requirements for new solutions/changes are met and implemented correctly.

    •  Identify, define and design new functionality and regressive test requirements

    What will you do?

    Sr Data Scientist: Retail Credit Risk & Portfolio Management

    About the role

    • This is a data science role focusing on driving continuous improvements to our retail credit products, both digital and financial.

    What you'll achieve in the first 12 months

    • The Retail Credit leadership team always know how well they’re performance and why: Through interactive dashboards and deeper monthly insights, build an understanding of the personal loan outcomes on our advisory platform (e.g. share of loans), analyzing comments, interaction behaviors and competitor value propositions against our own. Work with user researchers to understand the why as well as the what and work together to make recommendations about changes to our financial product constructs to increase adoption and share of loans.
    • We develop a deep understanding of the clients we’re developing digital and financial products for: Use dimensions of identity as well as behavioral features to establish segmentations of our loan users as well as the users of our advice platforms. Segment the customers and explore what propositions are winning in different segments. In our addressable market, their product consumption patterns and needs. Work with portfolio leads to evolve offerings for different segments, considering radical changes to product constructs (e.g. loan terms for weeks, not years, fixed vs variable interest and so on).
    • Data and experimentation are used to double engagement and drive continuous improvements in our digital user experience: Work with the platform engineers to create data about what users are doing across our digital products and collaborate with the Data Product team to ensure its ingested onto our data & ML platform. Use data and controlled experiments to produce insights that help the team make sustained improvements to the user experience of our human and AI enabled advisory forums, doubling overall engagement and task completion rates across the platform.
    • We 4X the volume of digitally clients acquired through: Produce insights and ML models (if needed) to better target each client segment, personalise our marketing & onplatform content and reduce the cost of client acquisition. Work closely with marketing operations to bring your models and insights to life to drive our ambitious client acquisition goals as well as improve our marketing spend efficiency.     What will you do?

    Financial Consultant: Fund & Bank Reconciliations

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • The Financial Consultant: Fund & Bank Reconciliations will be responsible for the reconciliations between instructions executed by Glacier and respective management companies.

    Administrator Linked Investments

    What will you do?

    • To deliver operations administrative support services through the execution of predefined objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    Key Outcomes

    The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by Administrator Linked Investment:

    • Review client investment instructions received via workflow system to ensure compliance to business processing requirements. This involves validation of banking details, signature verification, etc., as well as compliance to regulatory requirements (e.g. Financial Identification Client Act (FICA), Pension Funds Act, and Long Term Insurance Act
    • Identify, investigate and escalate any outstanding requirements (e.g. verification of signatures) and/or incomplete documentation (e.g. ID copy, bank statement) needed for the investment instruction to be processed accurately and timeously back to the source (i.e. client, Advisor, Executor or Consultant). 
    • Capture the investment instruction onto the workflow system as per the technical guide and processing manuals within the specified turnaround times. 
    • Authorise the client investment instructions captured on the workflow as per the agreed mandate and applicable SLA. 
    • Scan and file all client documentation (such as, client application form, manual payments, original FICA documentation, etc.) in terms of the prescribed regulatory (e.g. Record Management policy) and Consumer Protection Act requirements for record purposes. 
    • Process instructions accurately and timely to ensure they get to management company (ManCo) on record time. 
    • Log onto the telephone system (Avaya) as per the pre-defined team's daily schedule to answer incoming calls from internal and external clients.
    • Perform outbound calls to clients and brokers for outstanding requirements.
    • Take ownership of the client’s queries by ensuring that feedback is given to the internal and external client within SLA.

    Qualifications and experience

    • Degree/National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Accounting / Banking or equivalent 
    • 2 - 3 years working experience as a Client Services Consultant or an Administrator in a LISP in a Financial Services Industry
