    HR Practitioner (Pretoria)

    • The HR Practitioner will report to the HR Business Partner. RCL Foods requires an experienced HR Professional with excellent knowledge of the practices, principles and legislations.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric.
    • Bachelor’s Degree – Human Resources.
    • Valid Driver’s License, vehicle & willing to travel.
    • Minimum of 4 years HR Generalist Experience & wide exposure to ER.
    • Exposure to SAP advantageous.

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Employee Relations:

    • Provide advice to line managers regarding conduct and misconduct management processes.
    • Provide advice to line managers and investigate/process disciplinary cases/grievances.
    • Participate in consultations and meetings with organised labour; i.e. wage negotiations.
    • Build strong social partnership with recognised union and its officials.
    • Manage Change management process.
    • Represent business at the CCMA during conciliation & arbitration processes.

    Resourcing:

    • Coordinate all recruitment activities.
    • Manage new employee on-boarding process, including preparation of personnel file at DOE.

    Supply Chain Analyst - Midrand

    • The purpose of the role is to Provide business intelligence and analytics to feed into key decision making processes and planning, relevant to CSE and Commercial.Provide analysis and research inputs into network and warehouse optimisation, supply chain initiatives, business and solutions development and general operations. Extract maximum value from the information technology, coordinatingand delivering on selected projects and project tasks. 

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in a supply chain environment, preferably with transport, network, warehouse modelling experience 
    • Relevant Bachelors Degree
    • Advanced mathematics/statistics qualification (University level)/ Industrial engineering degree would be advantageous
    • Operations research qualification (advantageous)
    • Cost management experience would be advantageous

    Project Coordination

    Cash Office Clerk - Durban

    Job Description    

    • RCL Foods is recruiting for a highly energized, people orientated Cash Office Clerk to manage cash and minimise exposure to drivers. Maintains and reconciles the Drivers Accounts.     Minimum Requirements    
    Education

    Experience

    • 1yrs experience in a credit control and cash handling environment

    General

    • Proficient in MS Excel, Previous experience of JDE or an ERP system advantageous

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • To receive and Process Credit Notes, Discounts ensure that these documents have been authorised 
    • Count all cash from drivers under the view of the camera system and capture on Driver cash up spreadsheet
    • Follow up on any shortages and gather reasons for driver shortages these are to be reported within 24 hrs (Contact Driver / Driver Supervisor to Identify Reasons for Short Payment)

    Principal Account Manager - Durban

    • RCL Foods is seeking a Principal Account Manager to join the Vector Logistics Division. The role will be based in Durban and will report to the Customer Executive Principal.
    • RCL Foods entrusts the Principal Account Manager with relationship management with key principals to ensure accounts are retained and that day-to-day operational queries are managed effectively; To help grow business in the principal channel through expansion of services to customer base; To maintain profitability of key accounts; and drive supply chain efficiencies to the benefit of both the customer and Vector ensuring the establishment of long terms strategic partnerships.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Bachelor’s Degree or similar.

    Set customer strategy

    Sales Admin Clerk

    Minimum Requirements    
    Education

    • Matric with the exemption. Min 60% Maths. 

    Skills required

    • Good written and oral communication skills sound computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and JDE, Thorough understanding of the sales administration process

    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years of administration experience in a sales environment. An understanding of manufacturing and exposure to logistics are desirable.
    • Valid Code 10 driver's licence is required 
    • Excellent Microsoft Excel is essential

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Admin relating to general management and disciplinary issues relating to drivers/VAs (supplying information to Route Controllers for action to be taken)
    • Monitoring and overseeing absenteeism and advising (with input from HR) corrective disciplinary action to be taken; Consult daily register for Drivers/VAs. 
    • Ensure the accuracy of data on Trac Tech
    • Monitor the working hours of Sales employees, to ensure reasonable working hours and where unreasonable, inform the route controller and Sales Manager.
    • Present monthly hours to Route Controllers and Sales Manager. 
    • Supply information necessary for disciplinary hearings relating to absenteeism, cash shortages, etc. 
    • Monitor that disciplinary action is taking place timeously and escalate to Sales Manager when it isn’t Cash Shortages daily, monitoring and dealing with cash shortages by drivers. Except Robbery shortages, ensure shortages are cleared and follow up with route controllers to ensure corrective action is taken within one week of the shortage arising, including for BOT, short payment, etc. Input from HR to determine what corrective action should be taken. 

    Weekly Reporting:

    • Absenteeism and discipline related to this. 
    • Weekly Reporting
    • Cash shortages per week and corrective actions were taken by route controllers.

    Key Responsibilities

    Crates and Crates Management: 

    • Monitor baseline of crates per route and report on variances to the Sales Manager. 
    • Monitoring crates movement per route and within Sunshine sales area – will require liaison with Dispatch (daily, weekly, monthly)
    • Monitoring and reporting on the crates pool
    • Identify key routes that have issues and communicate this to route controllers to ensure corrective action plans are put in place
    • Identify key customers that are problematic for crates. Monitor corrective action plans for such customers put in place by Route Controllers and give regular feedback regarding crates returned/loss
    • Liaise with Sunshine Crate Controllers within customers stores (e.g. Phoenix) and feedback concerns to Sales Manager
    • Escalate crate loss problems to Sales Manager and jointly institute action plans to stop and prevent crate losses
    • Reporting: Daily via WhatsApp Crates group indicating where losses have occurred, weekly (Sales Meeting), monthly sales meeting. Report outputs: sheet showing crate losses for the day, for the  week and the position for the month. May also be done in graphical format. 

    JDE: 

    Use JDE where applicable Driver Debriefs and input into Routes Analysis: 

    • Conduct regular de-briefs with drivers. Aspects to be discussed are listed in the next point

    Data analysis of routes. By working with the Sales Admin Clerk, record and monitor per route: 

    • Number of customers for that route
    • Customers lost on that route during the last month and why
    • Customers gained on that route during the last month and why
    • Tracking and monitoring of COD customers with the drivers
    • Suggestions from drivers on how sales for that route can be increased

    From the above 

    • Make recommendations to Sales Manager on actions that need to be taken on the routes or with customers
    • Follow up on corrective measures to be taken through Driver de-briefs and record outcomes
    • Give input into the route rides and surveys done by the Route Controllers and Sales Office. 
    • Make sure the team is aware of the findings

    General/Day-to-Day

    • Daily communication and reporting to the Sales Manager and Route Controller
