    Senior Specialist: Information Security Officer

    Purpose

    To implement a comprehensive Information Technology security program with the Information Technology lines of business to protect their applications and supporting infrastructure from both internal and external threats, manage threats and incidents when these materialise, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding Information Technology security, ensure the appropriate use of assets and educate employees about their Information Technology security responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to further embed the partnership that exists between IT Security, IT and the business.
    • Research and maintain knowledge of the IT threat landscape, security trends, regulatory requirements, new technologies and best practices in order to provide sensible and pragmatic security advice to stakeholders.
    • Develop a security assessment schedule across the respective lines of business / business units. Conduct reviews of applications, systems, underlying infrastructure and related processes as per the schedule.
    • Establish, maintain and improve logical access management practices for all users (Generic, User, Service and Privileged) by the application of appropriate manual and/or automated processes – in order to provide assurance that the right people have the right level of access to Liberty’s information.
    • Implement and validate all aspects of the access management lifecycle, as prescribed by the appropriate policies and standards.

    Additional Key Responsibilities

    • Develop an awareness and training plan for the line of business that is fit for purpose, aligned with strategy and considers a range of risk data points e.g. audit findings, risk and control self-assessments, IT Security risk assessments, emerging threats and risks, and incidents.
    • Create awareness to the IT Executives and broader IT community on the back of new threat and risk intelligence. Proactively create awareness on recurring risk themes.
    • Participate in the development of new and the annual review of existing IT Security Policies, Standards and Guidelines by providing input to enhance the quality and completeness of these documents.
    • Communicate the requirements for compliance to the IT Security Policies, Standards and Guidelines to the relevant parties within IT.

    Minimum Experience

    • 3 - 8 years' experience in a similar environment, of which 5 - 6 years at Technical Level.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Degree in Management practices.
    • Compulsory - CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
    • Mandatory -  ISACA CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).

    Cloud Systems Engineer

    Purpose

    Performs Microsoft Infrastructure design, development, and administration activities including but not limited to: deploying Windows Operating system applications, configuring hosts and host instances, deploying and managing business rules, configuring and administering a Windows/Cloud environment.  Maintains responsibility for configurations on multiple environments.  Represents Wintel during the design and development process, and troubleshoots Wintel solutions in an enterprise environment.  Performs hands-on developing, debugging, and testing with Windows Operating system and Cloud Operating system technologies

    Additional Minimum Qualifications

    • BS C in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT related field; or an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering BS or equivalent business experience or other Tertiary education

    • Design and document global enterprise Windows architecture: Master Data Management.
    • Design, document, install and maintain Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022, on premise and in the cloud

    • Support other IT staff with open and unresolved issues.
    • Provides on-call support via cell-phone 24 x 7 when on Standby and in emergency circumstances.
    • Take on responsibilities as a backup or alternate for other IT staff if required.
    • Cover and resolve any outstanding Service Desk related issues in an effort to help all IT members resolve tickets as quickly and efficiently as possible.

    Minimum Experience

    • Minimum 3 years developing enterprise scale Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 applications
    • Minimum 5 years Windows operating system administration experience
    • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance B.S. in Computer Science, Business, or related major Certification
    • 3 to 5+ years of Microsoft Windows Administration with Windows Scripting support and experience
    • 3 to 5+ years of Microsoft Server Administration 
    • 4+ years of experience optimizing queries, performance             tuning, and recovery activities.
    • AWS Cloud Practitioner
    • Azure Fundamentals
    • Powershell scripting

    Additional Experience

    • High level certification/training in core area (Windows Operating System 2008/2012/2016/2019,2022) Azure and Cloud experience and training is essential
    • Experience in architecture, implementation and management of enterprise database solutions.
    • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with senior business management and peers.
    • Strong business and technical process design and documentation skills.
    • Possesses a high level of technical/functional expertise and knowledge.
    • Industry expertise of best practices, standards, and technology.

    Specialist: IT Systems Support - Software Asset Managemet (SWAM)

    Purpose

    To provide specialist advice and support related to day-to-day computer use and IT system trouble-shooting, problem-solving and education, through the execution of predefined objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    Minimum Experience

    Outputs
