    Support Engineer

    Job Description

    • As a Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for providing technical support to our customers.
    • You’re someone who has worked with databases, built a few Postman collections and done some scripting in Bash, PowerShell or VBScript.
    • You enjoy working with people, have great communication skills and your time management is top notch.

    Responsibilities

    • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and live chat in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to our SaaS products.
    • Document and track customer inquiries and resolutions in our ticketing system.
    • Collaborate with the development team to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
    • Proactively identify and suggest solutions to improve the customer experience.
    • Stay up to date on the latest developments and features of our platform.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • 2+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in a SaaS environment.
    • Strong technical knowledge of cloud computing and web-based applications.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems, particularly ConnectWise Manage is helpful.
    • Experience with SQL and scripting a plus.

    Integration Engineer

    Job Description

    • As an Integration Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering integration solutions built on Flowgear to our direct clients. You’re someone who understands databases and API’s and has dabbled in the odd bit of scripting. You enjoy working with people, have great communication skills and your time management is top notch.

    Responsibilities

    • Configuring endpoint access for customer apps & services (test and production environments)
    • Iterative implementation of solutions using Flowgear by visually building out integrations
    • Engage with clients to help them QA the solution and bring it to production readiness
    • Occasional support of Flowgear partners where assistance is needed on more complex scenarios
    • Strong candidates have a growth path to progress to a Projects Lead role

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Prior experience scoping software and/or diagnosing software issues (for example you may have worked as a BA or software tester)
    • Sufficient technical background to understand principles such as HTTP, SQL databases, Filesystems, FTP, REST, SOAP
    • SQL database or relational database skills
    • Flowgear certification
    • Some scripting experience is helpful (language is not relevant)
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field very helpful

    Software Engineer

    Job Description

    • Flowgear was South Africa’s first Integration PaaS. Now, 10 years on we’re rebuilding our platform and are scaling our dev team. We have roles open for dev’s with experience on back-end (C#) or front-end (React+Typescript) or both.

    You’ll be part of a small, high cadence team working on these areas:

    • Core platform sub-systems built on .NET 6/7
    • GitHub integration to enable our customers to manage their workflows like code
    • Stream-based messaging to support millions of rows or TB of payload
    • Baking .NET assemblies from YAML workflow definitions
    • Development of connectors that leverage streams/iterators in and streams/iterators out
    • Azure service integration including Key Vault and Storage
    • OpenID Connect integration for Microsoft, Google and others
    • YAML deployment pipelines under Azure DevOps
    • SVG-based visual designer

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field

    Strategic Sales Accounts Executive

    Job Description

    • This role will focus on new channel partner acquisition and account management to drive subscription sales to the platform.
    • Flowgear targets partners who inherently need an integration solutions as part of their core business.
    • The candidate will works as an extension of the channels partners sales team to manage the full life cycle sales process. They will also work closely with a Flowgear technical pre-sales engineer to provide prospects and customers with valuable insights on the Flowgear platform, inclusing demonstrations and proof of concepts.
    • This role does not require a technical / developement background but an affinity to technology is a must!

    Responsibilities
    How you will focus your time:

    • 70% – Acquiring new distribution partners + account management. Partners will refer their own clients who should become Flowgear clients. We have close to 90+ partners globally (in less than 18 months)
    • Hunt 20-30 partners
    • Manage partner relationships monthly to identify new leads and opportunities
    • Engage with all leads to introduce Flowgear and understand their integration and automation requirements
    • Run the full lifecycle sales process including managing a the proof-of-concept process (POC) as a key step to the sales strategy. POC’s are run by the technical team.
    • 20% direct sales from in-bound leads. Website – free trial and demo registrations
    • 10% direct sales outbound sales (likely conference attendance)
    • Schedule and lead meetings with customers

    Qualifications and Experience

    • 2+ years of sales experience , preferably in a SaaS environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
    • Coachable
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to meticulously follow a process

    Compensation

    • Base Salary – TBD
    • Uncapped commissions – should be able to double the base salary within 6-9 months
