Traffic Control Analyst at Caterpillar Inc.

What you will be doing:

• In this role, you will oversee the coordination of inbound and outbound logistics for materials, components, and final products, ensuring efficient transport operations and timely delivery.
• Updating shipping information.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers to ensure material is loaded in time.
• Conduct annual PWC Audit by submitting all relevant documentation required. 
• Producing and distributing activity reports.
• Maintaining records of the destination, weight, and charges for all incoming and outgoing freight; verifying freight charges.
• Compiling schedules and notifying departments and customers of schedule changes.

Skill you will have:

• Process Management : Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
• Flexibility and Adaptability : Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.

• Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
• Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
• Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution center's, manufacturing facilities and customers.

What you will have:

• 2 – 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Complete qualification in logistics or a related field.
• SAP / EWM or similar Warehouse Management System.
• Proficiency in Excel – Intermediary.
