    Sales Representative: KwaZulu-Natal

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    Edward Snell & Co. are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in the KZN Region.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Will be operating in the KwaZulu Natal region.
    • Achieve brand availability targets as per the Company standards.
    • Design, implement and manage promotions, tastings, and events.
    • A commitment to customer service and seeking opportunities.
    • General Sales Administration.

    QUALIFICATION & MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

    • Matric.
    • Diploma/NQF level 6 in Sales or Marketing.
    • A minimum of 2 years’ sales-related experience within an FMCG environment is essential.
    • Liquor experience preferable.
    • Must have a soundtrack record within the sales industry.
    • Must have a valid code 8 driver’s license. 

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

    • Able to communicate fluently in English.
    • Must be initiative-taking and results driven.

    Sales Representative Informal Market- Gqeberha

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    • Edward Snell & Co. are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in the Eastern Cape.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual volume targets as measured through the IRD.
    • Identify volume opportunities within the informal market.
    • Manage in-store support as set out in the VMAPP structure.
    • Manage relationships with Tavern, Counter Service and IRD customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Call in the Informal Market customer base, as per agreed calling schedule.
    • Maintenance of customer master data to ensure all information is complete and accurate.
    • Ensure promotional objectives are executed as per the visual VMAPPS.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Diploma/NQF level 6.
    • Matric (with 3 years’ experience).
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an FMCG Sales environment.

    Export Marketing Manager

    QUALIFICATION & JOB REQUIREMENT

    • 3 Year Sales and/or Marketing Degree or equivalent National Diploma
    • Candidate will be expected to travel outside SA on a regular basis.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 5 Years Trade Marketing / Route to Consumer (RTC) experience.
    • Experience within an FMCG sales environment would be advantageous.
    • Proven track record of delivery of brand marketing campaigns.
    • Africa experience will be advantageous.

    • Ensure that volume and value sales targets are achieved in assigned regions to meet the overall export objectives.
    • Providing Export Market managers with relevant marketing information for the compilation and maintenance of core and strategic market templates.
    • Collaborating with the export market managers and local innovation team to develop new product innovations in identified markets.
    • Providing market managers with meaningful marketing insights when building 5-year road maps.
    • Collaborating with with local brand team to leverage all relevant P.O.S and brand campaigns for implementation/adaption in assigned markets.
    • Timeous execution of all marketing and A+P plans by region in line with the overall export strategy.
    • Managing the total export marketing and advertising budget within the agreed parameters
    • Assisting the export markets managers with the preparation required for QBR’s and IBP planning.
    • Identifying and developing market specific P.O.S and brand executions which will disrupt the spirit category in relevant markets.
    • Working with E.Snell distributor partners to build in market campaigns which will assist and drive specific brand strategies.

    Brand Manager

    QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Marketing Related Degree/Diploma
    • Minimum 5 years’ brand related experience within a FMCG/Retail/Liquor environment

    • Proven capability in designing and implementing brand communication and activations, with measurable results aligned to brand objectives
    • Strategic, creative, innovative thinker with strong operational capabilities

    • Ensures Brand volume and value growth in line with the Portfolio Plan
    • Develop brand strategies that are aligned to the brand role in the portfolio and the context of the current environment & trends
    • On time and in full execution of brand activity plans
    • Develop and influence consumer-centric brand bibles that increase differentiation between brands, delivers against the brand role in the portfolio and maximizes business growth
    • Understands key customers per channel, their needs and marketing platforms and applies this to operational planning
    • Full understanding of competitor activity in market, and the ability to recommend according shifts in activity plans to deliver against short and long term ambitions
    • Manage relationships with creative partners at a project level in a manner that ensures successful & sustained partnerships
    • Develop cross-functional relationships across the business to ensure key stakeholders are aligned behind Brand activity plans
