    Dental Coordinator - Gonubie

    • The purpose of the position is to support the Practice Manager in their efforts to reach strategic branch goals and targets through outstanding coordination and supervision of the Dental department.

    CRITICAL OUTPUTS

    • Effectively manage operational expenses including but not limited to staffing and dental consumables.
    • Deliver friendly, effective service to clients visiting the facility according to policies and procedures.
    • Provide accurate information to customers at all times regarding professional availability and account information.
    • Ensure correct data completion and capturing of patient information.
    • Manage and implement sound patient flow in the dental department.
    • Implement and communicate revised / new operational processes to all staff members.
    • Manage correct capturing of all patient data.
    • Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
    • Assess billing information and ensure corrections.
    • Assist patients with account queries, support staff and escalate as necessary.
    • Ensure availability of stationary, business consumables and printing stock etc.
    • To record and manage maintenance of all dental equipment.
    • Schedule services of dental equipment.
    • Ensure compliance to licensing requirements of x-ray machine.
    • Ensure sound working relationships with internal and external customers.
    • Manage the provision of accurate information to customers.
    • Ensure that dental staff delivers a quality customer service.
    • Ensure that communication to customers portray a professional, efficient image at all times.
    • All queries to be handled courteously and professionally within 24 hours.
    • Ensure that dentists' diaries are opened according to scheduled rosters.
    • Ensure pro-active communication with health professionals to identify and address needs and risks.
    • Coordinate and implement sound dental operational practices aligned with the dental operating model.
    • Quality customer service aligned with Intercare’s vision, mission, and values.
    • Monthly management of creditors for the dental department.
    • Effective leadership and people management.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12
    • 2-3 years' experience within a dental environment
    • Computer proficiency (MS Office) essential, GoodX experience advantageous.
    • Registered with HPCSA as a registered Dental Assistant.
    • Strong background in administration.

    Receptionist - Woodhill

    • The focus of this position is to provide professional customer service by facilitating the patient administration process.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide efficient, friendly and professional telephone services in patient care.
    • Assist patients in accurately completing appropriate forms, and document all information in accordance to internal policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for all processes related to the reception-patient journey, e.g. booking, arrival and payment of patient on the relevant system.
    • Direct all customers to the appropriate location, services and Professional.
    • Ensure patient confidentiality at all times according to POPIA.
    • Ensure that the reception area is always neat and tidy.
    • Refer all emergency cases to the nurse’s station according to protocol.
    • Assist patients with basic account queries and escalate as necessary.
    • Collect all co-payments and account balances according to Intercare policies and procedures.
    • Execute and adhere to daily cash-up and banking processes.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum qualification: Grade 12.
    • Previous experience in a customer focused service environment, e.g. reception, will be advantageous.
    • Computer proficient.
    • GoodX system experience will be advantageous.

    Registered Nurse - Mall@55

    • The purpose of the position is to perform all nursing duties in accordance to the scope of practice as prescribed by the South African Nursing Council, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.

    CRITICAL OUTPUTS 

    • Assisting the Medical Practitioner in the pre-screening, treatment and care of patients.
    • Assist Medical Reception in the prioritizing of medical emergencies.
    • Actively maintain stock management processes.
    • Maintain emergency trolley in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure effective maintenance of schedule 5 and higher drug register according to DoH regulations
    • Ensure that the disposal of Medical waste and human tissue is in accordance to OHS Regulations.
    • Assume responsibility for the opening and lock-up of the branch.
    • Effectively attend to customer complaints and escalate to Practice Manager where applicable.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12
    • Diploma/Degree in nursing leading to qualification as Registered Nurse 
    • 2-3 years experience within a supervisory position advantageous
    • Computer proficiency (MS Office) essential
    • SANC Registration as Registered Nurse
