    General Workers - Lynnfield DC (Pietermaritzburg, KZN)

    Minimum Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    • Grade 12
    • 0-2 years of warehouse experience (your role will be determined by your experience).
    • Forklift or Reach Truck license (required for Forklift or Reach Truck Driver roles).
    • Proficiency in Excel.
    • Be available to work day shifts, night shifts, weekends (including Sunday's) and public holidays.

    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Teamwork
    • Deadline-driven
    • Basic mathematical skills

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Available Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Cycle Counter: Track stock quantities in the warehouse.
    • Forklift Driver: Load and offload trucks, and move and stack pallets.
    • Reach Truck Driver: Operate a reach truck and pack pallets on racks.
    • Auditor: Count stock, check for damages, and ensure expiry dates are accurate before dispatching to stores.
    • Combiner: Combine stock on pallets and shrink-wrap them before delivery to stores.

    Risk Officer - Westville

    Minimum Requirements

    • Relevant Risk Management Qualification.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Risk Management.
    • Membership in the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) is advantageous.
    • Exposure to the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Property Asset Manager

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Property Studies, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in asset management, real estate, or property management.
    • Proven experience managing a large portfolio of leased properties.
    • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills is paramount.
    • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Knowledge of South African property laws and regulations.
    • Advanced MS Office skills
    • Valid Driver’s license
    • SAP is advantageous
    • Proven experience in developing processes

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    Portfolio Management:

    • Oversee the entire portfolio of leased premises, including ±500 stores, and the distribution centres.
    • Develop and implement strategies for the optimal utilisation of all assets.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the property portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    Lease Management:

    • Provide support to Property Managers in negotiating lease terms and conditions to secure favourable agreements.
    • Manage lease renewals, upgrades and extensions. 
    • Ensure compliance with lease agreements and mitigate risks associated with lease obligations.

    Financial Management:

    • Analyse financial performance of the asset portfolio, identifying areas for cost savings and value enhancement.
    • Prepare regular reports for senior management.

    Maintenance and Compliance:

    • Ensure all properties are maintained to the highest standards between property landlords and Boxer’s maintenance department.
    • Oversee property maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, in conjunction with the OHS department.
    • Coordinate with property owners, property managers and maintenance teams to address any issues promptly.

    Strategic Planning:

    • Support business in the development of long-term strategies for asset acquisition, disposal, and enhancement.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for expansion.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align asset management strategies with overall business goals.

     Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property managers, and other stakeholders.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all asset-related inquiries and negotiations.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal departments, including finance, operations, and legal.
