    Production Coordinator

    Key Performance Objectives

    Tasks

    Crew Scheduling

    • Perform end to end scheduling activities of operational crew in the OB environment, maintaining a balance between cost efficiency, business rules, scheduling guidelines and production requirements.
    • Ensure that bookings of production crew are made accurately on SOBER.
    • Ensure regular communication with relevant Camera and EVS Supervisors to review crew booking schedules on both monthly and weekly cadences to ensure accurate skill allocation across all productions and minimize last-minute crew adjustments.
    • Ensure proper and accurate maintenance of crew personal data, schedules and availability on SOBER.
    • Maintain regular communication channels with Event Facilitators, ensuring efficient communication of crew changes and updates on productions and any special crew arrangements on specific events.
    • Efficient communication of schedules and call times in    the OB environment with the OB crew
    • Ensure that all crew members possess the appropriate seasonal accreditations for various sporting genres. Update the accreditation portals seasonally.
    • Act as a first point of contact with the freelancer operators on HR, SOBER and admin related queries

    Compliance

    • Operate within a given budget to determine and ensure that the financial requirements can be met
    • Perform in accordance with the business processes and policies and SOP’s
    • Participate in learning and development activities to ensure adherence to the requirements of the division

    Qualification:

    • A matric certificate or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification

    Qualification Preferred:

    • A post matric certificate

    Content Manager: SS Schools

    Key Performance Objectives

    Tasks

    Pre-Production, Content creation and concepts

    • Plan at least one month in advance regarding key events, tournaments, and matches
    • Liaise with Programming regarding specific content
    • Approve posters and meta data for all assets on all platforms
    • Ensure Auxplat and other scheduling services are up to date and done at least 7 days in advance
    • Meet with various sporting genre producers regarding possible content, planned productions and upcoming material that can be used

    Daily maintenance

    • Monitor all platforms daily, for correctness and timeous uploading on assets
    • Initiate, facilitate and schedule in-match clips and highlights as they happen
    • Liaise with AMC to export “magic moments” to social media and marketing teams Create slugs and posters as well as all relevant meta data for these assets
    • Create daily digital media specific content
    • Ensure assets remain on CatchUp before they expire
    • Perform general admin and file maintenance

    Media Planning Manager

    Key Performance Objectives

    Tasks

    Strategy Execution

    • Plan and execute all micro and promo schedules with Marketing and Programming respectively, as well as other related activities, including the delivery of downloads to both Argus and Samrand - in line with the Business Unit strategy

    Operational Delivery

    • Strategically plan and manage the implementation and output of micro schedules and promos for SuperSport
    • Break allocations: Determine commercial allocations within ad-breaks for DMS to enable DMS to meet their targets, revise if necessary to ensure business needs are catered for
    • Manage media plans for Enterprise, Marketing and Group barter agreements
    • Ensure that the correct promo material arrives in the building in the correct format, is ingested, slugged and scheduled according to broadcast event specifications
    • Ensure that the rights holders and events, including their sponsorship elements are scheduled according to statutory contractual obligations on the correct SuperSport channels
    • Proactive involvement in all enhancements on the LMKRS micro scheduling system for all departments, including Media Sales

    • Excellent understanding of the operational requirements applied on SuperSport channels, including bouquet platforms, across both SA and MAL territories.  
    • A very strong working knowledge of Synergy, Landmark Rights and Scheduling and related programs or systems used in the transmission process
    • Working experience and passion for developing and coaching juniors
