    Regional Facilities Manager - Cape Town

    Responsibilities:

    Warehouse Management:

    • Oversee Facilities management for five warehouses in Epping, Brackengate, Richmond, George, and Port Elizabeth and possibly more as the company expands.
    • Conduct daily visits to branches and pods to ensure smooth and operational facilities

    Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure all branches comply with Health & Safety regulations, security protocols, and insurance requirements.
    • Perform regular audits on warehouse inspection files and registers and report on findings daily / regularly on positive or negative issues.

    Team Coordination:

    • Conduct regular catch-up meetings with warehouse managers to review performance and address issues.

    Support Staff Management:

    Supplier Relations:

    • Source and build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and efficiency and cost saving methods.

    Resource Efficiency:

    • Monitor and improve the efficiency of building electricity and water usage, providing recommendations for enhancements.

    Pod Management:

    • Oversee operations for 25 pods across the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, and Northern Cape.

    Logistics Support:

    • Assist with logistics as needed to ensure effective operations.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Grade 12.
    • A minimum of 3-5 year's facilities management experience.
    • A relevant management qualification will be beneficial.
