    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design and develop robust data models and data solutions: As a Datawarehouse Engineer, you will use your skills in data wizardry and SQL sorcery to create, test, deploy and maintain data models that adapt to the ever-changing needs of our internal business partners. You will also leverage modern tools and platforms like DBT, Snowflake, Tableau, and SQL to drive efficient analytics and data transformation processes.
    • Perform complex calculations and data analysis: You will harness the power of advanced SQL queries and DAX and MDX languages to perform complex calculations and data analysis for ELT, data warehousing, and Business Intelligence purposes. You will also respond to ad-hoc data requests with grace, generating custom queries and reports that fuel special initiatives and cater to specific business unit needs.

You will also participate in design and testing of various data warehouse technical components and solutions. You will communicate effectively with business stakeholders and provide analysis and issue resolution on business reported concerns.
    • Uphold data governance, security, and privacy standards: You will follow industry best practices and internal standards related to data governance, security, and privacy. You will perform ongoing monitoring, automation, and refinement of implemented solutions. You will also provide production support and solve immediate problems to keep databases in production.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Relevant IT qualification
    • Certifications (Udemy, LinkedIn Learning courses showing you’re keeping up to date are a huge advantage!)
    • 4+ years experience in the following:
      • SQL

    IT Asset Controller Mr Price Group

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Maintain a comprehensive IT asset inventory, tracking location and allocation to optimize asset utilization and ensure compliance with IT Asset Management policies.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Accurately maintain the location and movement of IT assets within the IT asset management system

    You’d be involved in our new and enhancement projects in the Finance space, with a focus on our cloud based Dynamics365 finance system.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Resolving complex technical and financial issues that the primary support team cannot resolve
    • Analyse trends in incidences reported & resolved to provide insights to developers and IT teams on areas of concern or repeated problems within applications or systems
    • Document the process applied and resolution used to resolve incidences to maintain a library of knowledge to be shared with support & IT teams
    • Proactively review all environments to ensure the mitigation of risks

    Creditors Clerk (FTC) Mr Price Group - Durban

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • This is a 3-month contract and will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all sundry creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.                                                                                       

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Invoices.

    • Process invoices and purchase orders.
    • Match and batch invoices and delivery notes.
    • Follow up on payment of invoices due, by sending bill reminders and contacting clients to ensure that no invoices are long outstanding.

    Payments.                        

    • Process accounts and incoming payments in order to follow up where payments are missed.
    • Prepare sundry creditors payments and ensure suppliers are paid timeously to avoid penalties of missed payments.

    BEE Certificates.

    • Follow-up on BEE certificates for each service provider to ensure compliance and documentation is available on DAX.

    Reconciliations.           

    • Reconcile the accounts receivables ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
    • Prepare reconciliations of amounts owed to each sundry vendor (per the statement received) against the amount owed per DAX to ensure consistency between the two.

    Data Capturing.

    • Maintain the sundry creditors data base including capturing of new suppliers in DAX.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education:

    • Grade 12.
    • Qualification in Finance (preferred)                                                                         

    Experience:

    • 2-3 Years' creditors experience 
    • Strong MS Excel experience 

    Knowledge:

    • Microsoft Office.
    • Book Keeping Software.
    • Accounting Process Knowledge.
