    Specialist: Core Data Networks Operations

    Job Description

    • To perform operational functions related to faults and configurations across network security systems

    Your responsibilities will include:
    Support

    • Provide high level support for CDN systems
    • Perform systems and configuration testing 
    • Plan and execute configuration changes on routers and switches
    • Evaluate and implement system OS software releases for routers and switches.
    • Engage with engineering, regional operations and NMG network performance teams to understand and address network concerns. 
    • Planning
    • Engage with engineering and regional operations teams to define service 
    • requirements
    • Evaluate system architecture and recommend system improvements 
    • Compile detailed system design and implementation plans
    • Compile and keep site documentation up to date.
    • Audit the site configurations and ensure alignment to architecture standards

    Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

    • A bachelor’s degree or 3-year diploma in Information Technology or Electrical Engineering 
    • An advanced Networking Certification

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    • Network Security Protocols and Services
    • Routing Protocols
    • IP/MPLS and Ethernet technologies.
    • Firewall Architectures and Operations
    • Firewall product knowledge
    • GSM, UMTS and LTE knowledge

    Senior Segment Marketing Manager

    Job Description
    The Senior Segment Marketing Manager role is based within the Consumer Business Unit.

    • The role of the Senior Segment Marketing Manager is to define the segment marketing strategy and plan for a specific segment or segments and is responsible for growing market share, NPS, brand consideration, the customer base, and ARPU of this/these segment(s) and for developing and delivering the segment P&L targets. The role leads a the cross-functional team across the business to develop and deliver clear insights, branded positioning, and a roadmap of propositions and activities for the segment(s)

    Your responsibilities will include:

     Segment marketing strategy and plan:

    • Understand the market, competitors and segment opportunities
    • Identify customer and commercial opportunities through actionable insights
    • Define simple and differentiating segment branded claims and propose activities, propositions, and customer experience developments to substantiate these
    • Define a Segment Marketing plan/roadmap and deliver against this
    • Define and drive segment distribution and customer/channel investment initiatives
    • Define pricing strategies and initiatives using insight to differentiate and behavioural characteristics to create value
    • Lead, define, drive and support excellence in go-to-market execution, coordinating the execution of new propositions

     Deliver and improve segment performance/P&L:

    • Track and regularly report on segment performance, proposing improvement initiatives
    • Improve customer experience

    Lead cross-functional segment teams:

    • Lead teams from all functions to deliver segment plans and improvement initiatives
    • Segment Marketing: Proven ability to define segment opportunities and to create propositions and GTM strategies to exploit them
    • Commercial Acumen: Commercial mindset with extensive experience in senior commercial roles managing segment P&Ls.
    • Insights, Proposition Development, Customer Experience: Ability to make critical decisions on key insights, developing branded claims and to prioritize and deliver proposition and customer experience roadmaps

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Advanced marketing skills and knowledge, ideally from managing successful consumer P&Ls
    • Bcom degree in Marketing or commercial degree with 8years relevant work experience
    • Previous work experience in telecoms/technology industries (advantageous), FMCG and/or professional services

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    • Segment Marketing: Proven ability to define segment opportunities and to create propositions and GTM strategies to exploit them
    • Commercial Acumen: Commercial mind-set with extensive experience in senior commercial roles managing segment P&Ls.
    • Insights, Proposition Development, Customer Experience: Ability to make critical decisions on key insights, developing branded claims and to prioritise and deliver proposition and customer experience roadmaps
    • Leadership: Strong personal impact. Ability to present to senior leaders. Ability to communicate complex subjects in a simple way.
