    Whole Goods Sales Representative

    Key Performance Areas

     

    • Administration of sales processes and customer information
    • Market segmentation and target group identification (Database upkeep)
    • Continuous Prospecting and Sales Reporting. To build a new customer base on the territory, increase unit sales and to grow market share over time.
    • Take ownership of managing own sales activities, planning visits, balancing prospecting calls with existing customers visits and managing own deals from enquiry through to post installation follow-ups
    • Mechanization planning and customer solution packaging
    • Working together and communicating with other departments of Agriculture
    • Selling of used products to new customers based on high level targets and budgets
    • Follow up on existing customers and ensure business retention
    • Create value for customers through continuous market research and development
    • Take responsibility for revenue targets and manage profit and losses to the company
    • Take ownership of customers problems and resolve issues through support processes
    • Trade in of used equipment according to trade procedures and policies
    • Develop good customer relationships
    • Meet month-to-month sales target in used and rental
    • Sustain and grow machine sales and rental hours within allocated territories/ customer base
    • Effective territory management
    • Accurately and efficiently deal with sales administrative tasks
    • Manage all aspects of sales process
    • Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
    • Achieve individual Balanced Scorecard and KPIs
    • Effective self-management and performance ownership
    • Adherence to any reasonable instruction

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    Minimum Qualification

    • Grade 12
    • B. Tech Sales/Marketing Diploma or equivalent

    Minimum Experience

    • 5-7 years’ experience
    • Sales experience of agricultural machinery advantageous

    • Broad vision of modern mechanization practices and the agricultural market in South Africa
    • Ability to advice, customize and close transactions
    • Self-motivated
    • Strong ability to enter new customer markets
    • Must be reliable, honest and show integrity
    • Willingness to work overtime

    • Ability to think clearly in conflict situations
    • Computer literate with good experience in Microsoft Excel and Power Point

    Short Term Rental Administrator

    Key Performance Areas

    • Respond to internal and external customer with STR requests
    • Generation of quotes on SAP for emailing to customers
    • Follow-up on quotes
    • Maintain daily schedule
    • Prepare documentation for disposals, acquisitions, inter-regional transfers of units for the National Asset Optimisation Manager
    • Invoicing and crediting (authorised as per to authorisation matrix)
    • Follow-up all payments
    • Compile reports for review and action by Manager (Lost Sales, Utilisation)
    • Responsible for keeping up to date and accurate record of STR and Used units on the SAP
    • Used/STR Stock Counts and Recons
    • Responsible for accurate filling of departments documents
    • Work closely with the other team members in the department
    • Compile WIP report for Manager to action accordingly
    • Organise transport, gas and diesel
    • Open work order and order parts
    • Close work order on job completion
    • Responsible for billing of STR contracts on daily basis
    • Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
    • Effective self-management and performance ownership
    • Adherence to any reasonable instruction

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    Minimum Qualification

    •  Grade 12
    • Post-matric qualification

    Minimum Experience

    • 2-3 years’ experience
    • SAP experience advantageous
