    Buyer / Purchasing Officer (inventory purchases) - contract

    Qualification

    • National Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Finance (NQF 6)
    • 2 years procurement experience of which 1 must be in a buying environment
    • SAP MM and Inventory Management procedures experience

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Ensure that the provisions of the Procurement Policy and MFMA are adhered to.
    • Receive SAP inventory requisitions from the Users through Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
    • Analyse and consolidate all the family material codes to ensure that there will be no deliberate split.

    Senior Procurement Specialist – Centurion

    Job Description

    • Provide expert advice and inputs with regards to the organisational supply chain management strategy, governance, contract management and tactical plans to align with organisational goals, objectives, and targets.
    • Provide Advisory and support to the SCM team unit and the Senior Manager: SCM in the overall responsibility to execute the demand planning activities and contract management in accordance with prevailing regulatory frameworks and best practice.

    Honours degree in Law or Commerce, Built Environment or similar

    • At least ten (10) years’ experience in the PFMA supply chain / procurement environment
    • A track record of successfully building and developing a supply chain management system and processes.
    • Implementation of the enterprise and supplier development programmes
    • Proven expert status by noteworthy input into prevalent legislation and advisory role in formulating policies / guidelines / etc.
    • Proven expert experience in Contract Management, SCM Governance and Compliance
    • Proven experience in Demand planning and Management. Experience of procurement in a construction and engineering projects environment will be an advantage.
    • Proven experience in managing Irregular, Fruitless & Wasteful expenditure process. 

    Supply Chain Advisory Services

    • Provide expert advisory and promote the sphere of influence of supply chain management amongst relevant stakeholders.
    • Foster relationships with National Treasury to understand SCM regulatory frameworks and Instruction Notes and to proactively influence legislation that impacts upon operations.
    • Be alert to all changes in legislation impacting Supply Chain and advise SCM and the organisation of these changes and the impact thereof.
    • Update Policies and Procedures in accordance with all changes in legislation impacting Supply Chain.
    • Provide compliance advice in the preparation of bid documentation for the procurement of infrastructure and general goods and/or services. 
    • Efficiency and Optimisation of the end-to-end Procurement Management System and processes
    • Assess the need for technology adoption in SCM processes and oversee the enhancing of the system towards the end goal of 100% automation as well as seamless, efficient processing of all procurement.
    • Assess the reports available on technology platform (s) and adjust where necessary to ensure that sufficient reporting is available to improve efficiencies as well as to provide relevant management information
    • Oversee Contract Management function and related reporting.
    • Conduct compliance reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.

    Capacity Building

    • Provide in-house training, to both the SCM team as well as the broader organisation (especially Bid Committee members) on matters related to procurement, contract management and ensure the  community is aware of developments within the field of supply chain.
    • Demand Management & Planning
    • Develop and implement instruction(s) and process outline for demand planning
    • Draft an integrated Procurement Plan
    • Monitor compliance with the procurement plan and implement corrective/mitigating strategies where there are delays.
    • Optimise demand planning and management processes
    • Manage Irregular, Fruitless and Wasteful Expenditure (IFWE)
    • Review and update Policies and procedures for the management of IFWE
    • Develop and update appropriate templates for the management of IFWE
    • Manage the whole IFWE cycle and compile appropriate reports in accordance with the prevailing regulatory frameworks
    • Serve as SCM’s representative in Loss Control Committee (LCC)
    • Provide awareness sessions on the management of IFWE.

    Senior Manager Finance – Centurion

    Job Description

    • Lead towards the strategic management and alignment of the finance function
    • Ensure the Integrity of financial (recording, treatment, disclosure) and management accounting (relevant, timeous, measurable and value add) information
    • Create and maintain capacity (time, skill and physical people) within Finance in order to respond effectively to growth and development
    • Ensuring financial statements are in compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS and GARP)
    • Design and align financial management processes in response to the environment within which the company operates.

    CA (SA)

    • Financial management and reporting experience in the financial services sector with preference for treasury exposure.
    • Minimum 5 years senior management experience, with proven experience managing a team
    • Experience in IFRS and GRAP
    • Manage and embed strategic alignment in response to growth and development
    • Embed strategic alignment of Finance Team
    • Ensure that Finance processes are integrated into the organisation
    • Continually assess team capacity against changing business needs.
    • Create and maintain relevant infrastructures, processes and systems, within Finance, as new projects are mandated.

    Year End

    • Play an oversight role over the entire year end process.
    • Review the draft annual financial statements and ensure that they are prepared in accordance with the accounting standards.
    • Present the Annual Financial Statements to EXCO, Board Committees and Board for approval
    • Ensure that Annual financial statements are complete and accurate and free from errors resulting in an unqualified audit opinion.
    • Liaison and co-ordination with external auditors.
    • Discussion of and resolving of audit queries and adjustments.
    • Annual Budget Cycle
    • Oversight role over the entire budget process.
    • Quality control over integrity of numbers and variance explanations.
    • Present actual versus budget (current year) and new year budget to EXCO, Board Committees and Board for approval.
    • People Management and development
    • Be accountable for strategic alignment of the team
    • Translate strategic alignment into understandable actions
    • Create development opportunities to keep the team up to date, challenged and enthusiastic
    • Responsible for overall team well-being
    • Strategic Liaison and Assurance
    • Quality and timeous liaison with stakeholders, external parties as well as with internal divisions.
    • Prepare lessons learned on completed projects
