    Program Manager - Johannesburg

    What do we want to know about you?

    What will your typical day look like?

    • Daily program management throughout the program life cycle.
    • Defining the program governance (controls).
    • Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress.
    • Managing the program’s budget.
    • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
    • Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies.
    • Managing and utilizing resources across projects.
    • Managing stakeholders’ communication.
    • Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” with the aid of the business change manager.
    • Managing the main program documents, such as the program initiation document.

    Other Requirements:

    • Flexible work hours to accommodate varying time zones.
    • Occasional travel to customer sites (including international regions).

    Product Support Engineer- Data Analytics - Johannesburg

    How will you make a difference?

    • As a member of the Program & Services group, you will be responsible for supporting our Mining Technology products, focusing on using the data collected by the system to provide analysis and recommendations to customers in order to aid decision-making and improved system configuration.
    • You will work closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams, advocating for the customer in prioritization discussions and product functionality and planning reviews.
    • You will be early adopters of new technology, with your feedback helping to shape ongoing development improvements.
    • The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization, and will transform data into readable, goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth.

    What do we want to know about you?

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering)
    • Proven experience with data analytics and visualization tools
    • Sound knowledge of current network and communications technology
    • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, problem solve and manage resolution to technical system issues
    • Experience with Linux administration, Microsoft Server, IIS, and SQL Server
    • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Customer service focus with a strong work ethic
    • Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple priorities
    • Commitment to safety and compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation

    • Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
    • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies
    • Develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
    • Identify trends and opportunities for system improvements through analysis of complex datasets
    • Work with customer representatives to define and document system requirements
    • Configure the system to operate according to agreed customer requirements

    What do we want to know about you? 

    Education:

    • Must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
    • Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain or related qualifications from an accredited institution.

    Experience:

    • Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Handle the Request for Quotations (RFQ) processes for the division and relevant categories.
    • Participate actively in the supplier’s selection and undertake performance reviews.
    • Negotiating contracts/ pricing with suppliers to make business savings.
    • Purchase goods from approved vendors
    • Preparing compliant purchase orders.
    • Assist in sourcing products/services and evaluating new vendors.
    • Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities.
    • Drawing outstanding purchase order reports.
    • Confirming contract and price queries
    • File all records to enable quick and easy access.
    • Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on the purchasing process and new projects and activities.
    • Monitor and advise on any issues which may present risk or opportunity to the organisation.
    • Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvements.
    • Communicate any delay or potential delay on orders to the relevant stakeholders.
