    Advertising & Promotions Specialist

    What you’ll be doing

    • Align planning and execution of activities with relevant internal Engen divisions’ activities through regular and timely input into the overall Engen Integrated Communication calendar.
    • Contribute towards clear visibility of all planned Engen activity to maximise overall investments and protect and enhance the Engen brand
    • Manage advertising, media and distribution agency processes and systems effectively through effective project management systems to ensure agile, relevant and effective marketing efforts
    • Gather and organise information to plan adverting campaigns and develop post campaign analytics and ROI calculations for promotional activity to ensure cost effectiveness in promotional activity.
    • Produce monthly reports on effectiveness of marketing programmes against planned objectives.
    • Manage dealer and customer incentive programmes to drive retail fuel and convenience growth

    What You Will Be Doing

    REGIONAL BAKERY OPERATIONS

    • Ensure implementation of non-fuel strategic objectives within allocated region and high levels of shop keeping and in store presentation of bakery standards within allocated to ensure compliance and consistency through consistent site visitation and feedback 
    • Ensure delivery and adherence to food safety management processes as stipulated within the Engen Food Safety Manual

    REGIONAL FOOD SERVICES OPERATIONS

    • Ensure implementation of non-fuel strategic objectives within allocated region and high levels of shop keeping and in store presentation of Food Services standards within allocated to ensure compliance and consistency through consistent site visitation and feedback 
    • Ensure delivery and adherence to food safety management processes as stipulated within the Engen Food Safety Manual
    • Review Food Services operational standards to deliver improved efficiencies through constant competitor analysis to ensure Engen remains relevant

    DRIVE STORE PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    • Implement regional plans to drive site performance indicators (basket size, basket value, customer transaction growth)
    • Understand and implement the space management principles to drive more efficient use of space 
    • Support the change management initiatives to allow the dealers and internal employees to adapt to the ever-changing environment within the region

    STRATEGIC INITIATIVES SUPPORT

    • Evaluate the level of implementation of initiatives with regards to Bakery and food Services to drive improvement and consistency
    • Support regional convenience strategic and regional sales teams’ initiatives to ensure effective strategy delivery and consistent execution
    • Influence changes in project scope by identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans to ensure delivery of strategic objectives.

    DRIVE SHOP-KEEPING OPERATIONAL STANDARDS

    • Implement shop-keeping processes to ensure world class standards are adhered to so as to maintain the organization’s competitive advantage. Implementation of the PACE methodology
    • Analyze the effectiveness of Regional Bakery and Food Services shop-keeping processes and develop and drive improvement to remain ahead of the competition in each of the Brands 
    • Support convenience operations on projects relating to Engen’s non -fuel retail strategy by driving in store compliance 

    TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

    • Ensure the execution of all Standard Operating Practices (SOP’s) for Bakery and Food Services Offer
    • Implement practical training interventions to ensure skills transfer to sales and convenience operations teams

    STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

    • Establish a partnership with Regional Sales and Convenience Operations teams to deliver turnover and income targets 
    • Engage internal customers and stakeholders on regional service delivery needs to drive achievement of regional performance indicators 
    • Manage and maintain relations with suppliers through the category teams to ensure effective implementation of the bakery category operating plan

    Plant Supervisor - Isando

    Purpose of the Job

    To manage and supervise operations in a cost-effective, safe environment in support of Engen objectives and optimisation of profit opportunities, in a safe and compliant manner.

    Who you are:
