    Plant Supervisor - Isando

    Purpose of the Job

    To manage and supervise operations in a cost-effective, safe environment in support of Engen objectives and optimisation of profit opportunities, in a safe and compliant manner.

    Who you are:

    • 2 years’ experience in a Supervisory role
    • Experience in Inventory/ Asset Management
    • Knowledge of HSEQ Standards and Compliance
    • SAP knowledge and experience

    What you’ll have done before:

    • NQF Level 6 (Diploma in Engineering or Related)
    • 3 years’ experience in Depot Operations
    • Experience in a Petrochemical Planning environment.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Perform weekly stock count
    • Account for volumes movements in the tank farm 
    • Supervise water draining process from bulk tanks 
    • Conduct Rail siding tier 1 audit Know requirements for operating a rail siding in accordance with RSR regulations
    • Investigate and process claims for in-transit loses
    • Hold meetings with Transnet for pipeline receipts 
    • Make sure that sampling and testing of products received is done 
    • Assist with weekly and monthly stock counts as required. (bulk and Packs)
    • Planning and giving inputs to Preventative Maintenance strategies 
    • Conduct inspections of the plant and equipment by completing a plant walkabout (920C and 920M)
    • Review monthly reports Deport or Terminal KPI’s
    • Carry out induction for Maintenance contractors
    • Carry out risk assessments 
    • Review work method statements
    • Carry out work observations and behaviour observations
    • Review contractor HSEQ files
    • Conducting inspection on contractor’s tools and equipment
    • Conduct work feedback meetings with contractors
