Job Summary
The role entails overseeing and directing the management of the Corporation’s property portfolio entailing residential, commercial, and industrial properties with a view to meeting the Corporation’s commercial and development objectives.
Functional area responsibilities include investment assets management, leasehold management, and facilities management. In relation to investment assets management, the incumbent is expected to institute systems to safeguard and optimise the utilisation of the portfolio; formulate and execute a property management, disposal and development strategy that is commercially sound and development oriented; and to pursue private sector joint venture partnerships to advance property development, revenue generation, and job creation.
In relation to leasehold management, the incumbent is expected to drive the maintenance of a culture of professional service, high collections rates and minimal impairments, high occupancy rates, and low utility service costs. With regard to facilities management, the incumbent is expected to pioneer a systematic facilities maintenance culture relating to both scheduled and ad hoc maintenance; spearhead maintenance related financial resources acquisition and budgeting; ensure effective and efficient procurement arrangements for maintenance work; and oversee the management of facilities related aspects such as security services, supplementary energy machinery and equipment, efficient energy use, etc. The executive shall also be responsible for providing overall strategic leadership and management of resources within the unit.

Job Summary
The incumbent shall be responsible for the following:
The role entails overseeing and directing the sourcing, planning and rollout of infrastructure programmes on behalf of public sector and partner institutions. The incumbent is expected to drive the enlisting of the ECDC as an infrastructure programme management partner by national, provincial, local government, and other partner institutions relating to social, economic, and basic services infrastructure.
Functional areas relating to role include business development, infrastructure programme delivery management systems, infrastructure development planning, infrastructure programmes execution and monitoring, client and stakeholder relations management, and contract management. The incumbent shall also be responsible for overseeing revenue collection for services rendered, creating a sustainable revenue stream, and managing the service in a commercially sound and development-oriented manner.
The operations of the business unit are required to contribute to funding of the development mandate of the Corporation including pursuit of external funding for infrastructure development from local, national and international sources including the national treasury’s budget facility for infrastructure (BFI) and; to the attainment of sustainable institutional operating surplus. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary
The Corporation in its digitisation drive, is looking for an individual who will bridge the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and line function operations through information and business systems environment analysis to identify possible gaps and opportunities for improved efficiency in business operations.
The incumbent will be responsible for undertaking analysis of business requirements, interpreting operational needs and technical business solutions, to improve business operations by implementing new technologies and producing functional specifications for any new changes to technology applications.
The incumbent will manage the interface between Business, Systems, IT and Service Provider(s) on existing systems and guide new system implementation requirements. This will include building working relationships across teams and Business Units to enhance ICT related work delivery, collaboration, and innovation, analysing business processes and workflows to identify business improvements and/or automation opportunities.
The role includes collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand and gather business requirements and compile detailed Functional Requirements Specification documents that are ready for vendor engagement, request for quotations or applicable ICT systems procurement processes.
