    Commercial Officer – Supply Chain

    Key Responsibilities

    • Acting as the commercial interface with customers and effectively managing commercial relationships.
    • Preparing and maintaining contractual documentation.
    • Managing the contractual budget.
    • Analysing and interpreting spend data trends, reporting and advising on strategies to increase contract cover.
    • Identifying and investigating process inefficiencies in the supply chain process.
    • Drafting and issuing of Request for Purchase (RFP) documentation and preparing detailed adjudication reports.
    • Corresponding / negotiating with suppliers and managing all administrative related activities.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (Purchasing/Commercial/Legal).
    • Driver’s license (Code EB/08).

    Minimum Experience

    • 2 years’ experience as a Contracts Officer or Buyer.
    • MS Office Proficiency.
    • Legal or contract management experience will be advantageous.

    • Ability to carefully and objectively analyses and evaluate information to inform decisions and key actions.
    • Ability to drill into the detail of issues to determine root cause while considering urgency, importance, risk and reward factors.

    Enterprise and Suppliers Development Superintendent

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supporting and implementing the ESD strategy in accordance with the Company’s Transformation Framework, MPRDA Act, RSA Government Transformation Imperatives, Mining Charter and DTI Codes of Good Practice.
    • Tracking and monitoring the operational plan to ensure the successful implementation of the strategy.
    • Engaging with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to optimise and ensure successful participation of Small Medium and Micro Enterprises.
    • Engaging with external stakeholders on various platforms.
    • Managing and taking responsibility for the ESD service provider on-site as well as at the business hub.
    • Identifying risks and put in place risk mitigation plans to eliminate possible business discontinuity.
    • Ensuring compliance to the relevant Company Policies and Procedures and Legislation.
    • Managing legislative reporting requirements (DMRE and Mining Charter).

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A relevant degree (Finance/Procurement/Supply Chain).

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience of which 3 years’ must be in Finance or Supply Chain.
    • Enterprise and Suppliers Development experience will be advantageous.
    • Mining Industry experience will be advantageous.

    Behavioural Competencies:

    • Ability to drill into the detail of issues to determine root cause whilst considering urgency, importance, risk, and reward factors.
    • Ability to analyse and evaluate information to inform decisions and key actions carefully and objectively.

    Responsible Sourcing Specialist

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implementing responsible sourcing through supply chain due diligence on new and existing suppliers, including human rights, modern slavery, and environmental perspectives.
    • Managing the Know Your Counterparty (KYC) process for new and existing vendors and the reporting of all KYC.
    • Compiling and analysing mandatory supplier documentation, such as transaction forms and questionnaires.
    • Internal and external stakeholder training on all vendor management requirements.
    • Producing regular reports on all key KPIs on the full vendor management life cycle.
    • Working with and assisting the supply team on vendor management projects and enquiries.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A relevant degree (Finance/Procurement/Supply Chain).

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain (responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, compliance, KYC and Vendor management and compliance).

    Behavioural Competencies:

    • Drills into the detail of issues to determine root cause. Considers urgency, important, risk and reward factors.
    • Ability to take the lead, set objectives, sequence processes/initiatives/projects, and organise resources to manage risk and achieve objectives.
    • Carefully and objectively analyses and evaluates information to inform decisions and key actions.
    • Initiates and builds long-term trust relations with all stakeholders in the business.
