    Enterprise and Suppliers Development Superintendent

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supporting and implementing the ESD strategy in accordance with the Company’s Transformation Framework, MPRDA Act, RSA Government Transformation Imperatives, Mining Charter and DTI Codes of Good Practice.
    • Tracking and monitoring the operational plan to ensure the successful implementation of the strategy.
    • Engaging with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to optimise and ensure successful participation of Small Medium and Micro Enterprises.
    • Engaging with external stakeholders on various platforms.
    • Managing and taking responsibility for the ESD service provider on-site as well as at the business hub.
    • Identifying risks and put in place risk mitigation plans to eliminate possible business discontinuity.
    • Ensuring compliance to the relevant Company Policies and Procedures and Legislation.
    • Managing legislative reporting requirements (DMRE and Mining Charter).

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A relevant degree (Finance/Procurement/Supply Chain).

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience of which 3 years’ must be in Finance or Supply Chain.
    • Enterprise and Suppliers Development experience will be advantageous.
    • Mining Industry experience will be advantageous.

    • Ability to drill into the detail of issues to determine root cause whilst considering urgency, importance, risk, and reward factors.
    • Ability to analyse and evaluate information to inform decisions and key actions carefully and objectively.
    • Consciousness for details and the ability to produce consistently high quality and accurate work.
    • Ability to maintain high levels of individual and team performance by driving the achievement of goals, targets, and financial objectives.
