    Parts Counter Salesman

    DUTIES:

    • Sell across the range BELL parts to both internal and external customers.
    • Attend to all parts customer related enquiries ( Telephonic, Electronic & Walk-in).
    • Carry out parts related administration i.e. generation of pick list and quotations etc.
    • Strive to meet set sales targets & budgets.
    • Follow up on quotation created to motivate and generate sales.
    • Manage and expedite the customer back orders with feedback to the customers.
    • Attend to customer and debtor queries without delays.
    • Filing of all parts sales and customer related documents and purchase orders.
    • Assist other staff & Seniors as and when required.
    • Maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
    • General support : ( Receiving, despatch, picking, binning, stock counts, data capture etc).
    • Provide standby after hours services.
    • Work overtime when required. 

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric or ABET L4.
    • At least 2-3 years parts sales experience.
    • Knowledge of AS400 and SAP would be advantageous.
    • Good general knowledge on earthmoving and or related parts.
    • Good customer relations.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Good telephonic skills.
    • Good computer operating skills.
    • Good command of English language both written and oral.
    • Valid code 8 driver’s license.
    • Applicants must be well presented with excellent manners.

    Mechanic Level 5

    DUTIES:

    • Repairs and service to the full range of Bell equipment:-
    • strip, assess, quote, plan, repair & complete accident damage or rebuild machines.
    • strip, assess & rebuild machine components, including engine, transmission, axles, pumps etc.
    • diagnose & repair drive line, cooling fuel, air & hydraulic systems.
    • plan for parts & equipment required for specific repairs.
    • use computer to order, create pick list, quotes etc.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Applicants must be qualified Earthmoving Mechanics with a minimum of N2 trade theory, engineering science, applied maths & engineering drawing.
    • Basic auto electrical diagnostic capabilities.
    • Basic welding skills.
    • Good communication & interpersonal skills.
    • Computer literate.
    • Extensive knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment.
    • Valid code 10 driver’s licence.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with Bell knowledge.
    • Applicants must have their own set of tools.

    Service Foreman

    DUTIES:

    • Campaigns
    • Manage Technical staff
    • Manage Apprentices
    • Planning workshop/ field service jobs
    • Client liaison
    • Oversee workshop and field service -vehicle fleet
    • Management outwork for jobs
    • Manage OHSACT Middelburg workshop and field service environment
    • Submission of all warranty claims , Bell , JCB, Kobelco, Finlay,
    • Consolidating & maintaining spreadsheets
    • Assisting with all queries on warranty jobs
    • Manage contractors Middelburg workshop and field service
    • WIP within acceptable days
    • Assist with debtor queries
    • Sign off of jobs, costings and invoicing
    • Assist mechanics and administrators
    • Managing of time for mechanics and apprentices
    • Manage over time

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Applicants must be qualified Earthmoving Mechanics with ten years’ experience
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Good management, planning & people skills
    • Applicants must have a sound knowledge of:
    • Disciplinary procedure
    • Safety regulations, technical requirements
    • Environmental regulations
    • Industrial relations
    • Good HR skills-interviewing skills
    • Administration procedures
    • Bell warranty procedures
    • Must be Computer Literate
