    Pre - Sales Engineer

    Is this you?

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will engage in customer load and bill analysis, desktop solar system sizing, and yield assessment.
    • You will be responsible for gathering and processing information, conducting feasibility studies, and designing solar and hybrid systems.
    • Your role will include compiling drawings and line diagrams, generating bills of quantity, and commissioning Grid-Tied, Hybrid, and Battery Backup solutions.
    • You’ll enjoy the dynamic nature of this role as you perform site assessments and provide lifecycle cost assessments.
    • You will ensure quality control of installations and provide technical support to installation teams during project phases.
    • Your research on solar products, local standards, and legislation will inform your designs and embedded generation applications.

    What you’ll need

    • To be successful in this role, you must have a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering and be proficient in Helioscope, PVSyst, and Microsoft Excel. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel are essential.
    • You should be comfortable working at heights and possess strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Your ability to interpret and analyse electrical drawings, research safety procedures, and understand legal regulations will be crucial.
    • Effective multitasking, prioritising, and meeting strict deadlines are key skills for this role.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.

    • This role will start as a 180 recruitment consultant, where you will have hands-on development and training on all things that make an exceptional recruiter. You will be working closely with one of our senior recruiters, within the commercial sector, which will expose you to a wide range of industries from FMCG to Engineering.
    • The goal of this role is for you to transition into a full 360 recruiter, which means you will need to be comfortable with targeted business development and working with clients.
