    Financial Manager Kia South Africa (Pty) Ltd - Sandton

    Job Description    

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for full financial reporting of the dealership assigned as well as providing expertise, advice and support to the dealership. The Financial Manager is instrumental in the development of a strong control environment through the enforcement of company policies and procedures. The Dealership Financial Manager serves as a co-pilot to the Dealer Principal.

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    • Full financial and reporting function for dealership assigned
    • Full month-end function and meeting and ensuring that month end deadlines are met
    • Provisioning
    • Standard Journals
    • Validity, Accuracy and Completeness of Financial Processing
    • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
    • Stock Management
    • Review Stock Ageing
    • Conduct Stock Counts
    • Review and Submission of M&M Report
    • Cost Control/Expense Management:
    • Expense Analysis
    • Budget vs Actual Tracking and Control
    • Identify cost optimisation and saving opportunities
    • Management of Dealership Working Capital:
    • Ensuring that the debtors’ are carrying out their responsibilities and meeting their deadlines.
    • Ensuring that the creditors’ are carrying out their responsibilities and meeting their deadlines.
    • Ensuring that the cashbooks are carrying out their responsibilities and meeting their deadlines.
    • Staff Management:
    • Ensuring that the Bookkeeper’s are carrying out their responsibilities and meeting their deadlines.

    Salaries and Payroll:

    • Ensuring that salaries and HR submissions are correct and within the deadlines.
    • Authorising payroll submissions.
    • Dealership Risk and Internal Controls:
    • Ensuring that dealers and hub staff apply the company policies and procedures as dictated by KIA.
    • Ensuring that all irregularities are reported to the correct managers and escalated should this fail to bring the required results.
    • Ensuring that internal and external audits run smoothly and all related issues are corrected at dealerships and the hub.
    • Authorising payments

    Qualifications and Experience    

    • Relevant Accounting Tertiary qualification.
    • 3 -5 years’ experience as a Finance Manager in a similar retail work environment.
    • A valid South African driver’s license.

    Creditors Clerk Kia South Africa (Pty) Ltd - Wonderboom

    Job Description    

    • The successful incumbent will be responsible to deliver a clerical service in order to process creditors transactions accurately and timeously through the execution of predefined work objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures. 

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    • Deliver on agreed performance targets according to set procedures and service level agreement.
    • Report on transactional activities to provide timely information for decision making in area of accountability.
    • Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.
    • Identify and apply known solutions to operational problems and escalate unresolved issues.
    • Ensure that all documentation is processed accurately and correctly.
    • Prepare remittance advise that reconcile creditors statements.

    • Deliver work activities effectively to satisfy internal ad external customers. 

    Qualifications and Experience    

    • Matric
    • Bookkeeping and/or accounting qualification would be an advantage
    • Min 3 years’ experience in the creditors environment
    • Min 2 years' experience in the motor industry would be an advantage.

    • Industry Legislation compliance / Knowledge,
