    Media Buyer

    Job Description

    Main Purpose of Job

    • To negotiate, buy and place client media, using correct rates with the correct Media Owners and ensuring right and accurate documentation to allow for invoicing.

    Responsibilities:

    Account Management

    • Responsible for delivery of buying service on portfolio
    • Attend client/team/status meetings
    • Maintain key stakeholder relationships  (agencies, brands,  client   portfolios)
    • Develop negotiation strategy on client portfolio

    Media Buying, Administration & Budget Management

    • No PO, No Booking
    • Implement the approved media plan across all mediums
    • Provide clear briefing to media owner sales representatives
    • Negotiate the best deals in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, price, quality and value added opportunities of the agreed media plan if not already included
    • Strive for optimal savings on all media buying
    • Issuing of chase lists to Creative Agencies / Client
    • Liaising with Creative Agencies – flighting codes / material etc.
    • Ensure that media schedule rates match the media flowplan
    • Check all contracts timeously and flag discrepancies with planner immediately
    • Check that monthly billings match expectation created by PO’s and/or flowplan and highlight discrepancies and corrections to campaign managers/media planner/BUD where applicable to enable them to correctly update their plans and PO trackers
    • Supply alternative TV spots to planner where applicable and book alternatives within 48 hrs
    • Amend or cancel bookings as and when required by Client, re-negotiating deals in order to avoid penalties wherever possible
    • Negotiate maximum compensation for non-adherence to booking parameters or poor quality reproduction
    • Respond to ad hoc buying requests from Client and planners
    • Provide Resources with all relevant documentation for billing purposes, including signed Cost Estimate, Purchase Order, Signed Schedule, Updated plans from Planners/Campaign managers, Proof of Service and/or other approvals.
    • 80% of Billings to be invoiced by billing closure and remaining 20% by no later than the 26th of every month
    • Adherence to billing deadlines
    • Weekly timesheets completion
    • Adhere to audit and process protocol
    • Respond to all Resources queries within 48 hours

    PR / Communications & Marketing Manager

    Job Description

    • Ensuring that the PGA brand is successfully maintained and built on – including all marketing assets, platforms and presentations. This candidate will create and manage all PR (this includes press releases, events, speaker engagements) at a Groupe level, including that of the CEO and SVPs as well as support and oversee any major PR news from the agencies within the Groupe. This candidate will also manage all internal comms channels and initiatives, working with the Chief People Officer and Ops Director.
    • Role reports into the CEO.

    External Marketing:

    • PGA external platforms – take full responsibility for managing and updating all the PGA external marketing channels (website, social media, press offices etc) and the content that features here.
    • PGA PR – take full responsibility for the strategy and creation of any Groupe-related PR and dissemination, working with the EXCO members to ensure an aligned strategy and messaging.
    • EXCO-level PR support – creating PR opportunities and content pieces for the SVPs and the CEO.
    • Agency PR Support – Work with agency leaders as needed to guide and support PR initiatives and campaigns. 
    • Events and Engagements – Arrangement and smooth execution of PGA events, including the annual FRESH conference.

    Internal Marketing:

    • Employee Experience –Together with Groupe Talent you will map this journey and will decide on the key touchpoints and communication opportunities. This role will include the planning and management of regular Groupe communication in written, video-based and event formats; intranet/ SharePoint communication; public recognition initiatives; educational/ motivational events etc.
    • Recruiting – Our task is to hire the best talent in the industry and together with Groupe Talent we will identify the best sources of talent and how to position Publicis as the employee of choice. This will include organising the resources of the Groupe around college events and presentations; video content; social media and industry sites etc.
    • Communication with the rest of the Groupe – assist the CEO & CPO to communicate with Publicis Groupe globally with regard to Public Relations, internal communication, knowledge sharing, best practice etc.
    • Marcel – together with Groupe Talent, the management of the PGA environment within Marcel. In addition, working with the agencies to ensure that PGA are present on the platform and are posting content (thought leadership, latest work etc)

    New Business Support:

    • Streamline the First Round/ RFI response process – track and monitor the new business activity across the Groupe.
    • World Class Assets – Together with the CCO and PGA Project Manager, you will create a library of beautifully produced, easy to use templates and assets which each brand can then access. You will build relationships and liaise with the rest of Publicis Groupe to keep our case studies, video content, brand templates, image libraries etc up to date in the Groupe Repository.
    • Key Pitch Support – You will assist EXCO to manage certain “pitches of group importance” as delegated to you by the Groupe CEO or EXCO.

    Social Media Manager

    Job Description

    What you’ll do:

    • As a social media manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day social media delivery on key clients assigned to your portfolio.  This includes the delivery of social media strategies, content plans, community management tasks and social media reporting. You will be required to work alongside creative teams to deliver social media concepts as part of the agency’s integrated creative solutions.

    • As a Senior Account Executive at MSL, you are a media relations expert, seamlessly managing media relationships and all interviews.
