    • To generate and manage the Long-Term component forecast

    Supply Chain Manager Inbound Global Grade 13 - Isando

    Position Outputs

    • To ensure optimal Inbound Supply Chain and related processes across the whole Barloworld Equipment Southern Africa region and by doing so, support the company in meeting market demand for equipment to grow PINS and maximize profitability, while optimising the cash-to-cash cycle. The role covers all Barloworld Equipment regions in Southern Africa in terms of Inbound Supply Chain operational areas (as well as exports from SA) and requires a high level of interaction with Caterpillar both locally and overseas
    • Accountable for overall Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
    • Identification and implementation of processes that drive efficiency and cost containment reducing or eliminating waste in the process.
    • Inventory process management ensuring that sales and stock levels targets are met
    • Ensure continuous and accurate communication with suppliers (Caterpillar, freight forwarders and transporters etc.) and Barloworld Equipment regions.
    • Ensure consistency between Barloworld Equipment Inventory planning system and the Caterpillar DPA tool, as well as correct use thereof.
    • Ensure timely Goods Receipt of equipment in conjunction with Sales Admin.
